[VRMMO] Dead One

[At the cursed oasis.]

"Hm? I think I see them." – said GreyHunt.

From the distance, GreyHunt who was on the lookout had noticed a group approaching the cursed oasis at fast rate.

After taking out spyglass from his inventory and using it to look at the unknown group, GreyHunt found out that it was ClownFrog, Blueberry and Oron riding on the undead sand running lizards.

After some time passed, the group had already arrived at the cursed oasis.

"Sup. What took you so long?" – asked GreyHunt.

"Well, we literally had to cross half of a freaking dessert to get to you. What did you expected?" – replied ClownFrog.

"Anyway, why the heck there are no mummies around? It's a middle of a freaking day and this place should be swarming with them."

"Oh. Well, since we knew that it would take you some time to get here, our group went around and looked around with lamias for the thing." – said GreyHunt.

"We were looking for this, yes?"

[A cursed necrotic man made artefact that is able to summon and create undead servants.]

"After we removed it from some sort of hidden altar, the mummies just straight up disappeared."

"By the way, I already talked with lamias about this and they agreed to us taking it, since the mummies are now kind of slowing down their movements."

"Oh. Nice. Then I guess we the only thing left to do is to kill that area boss." – said ClownFrog while taking a sphere like object from GreyHunt.

"I guess so, by the way, this is a new armor you are wearing. Did lamias gave you the equipment you request?" – asked GreyHunt.

"Yea. It doesn't provide any necro mastery points, but it provide lot of mana, intelligent and good amount of defense than average robes."

"Anyway, here is your armor set as well as weapon and pistole. They didn't had a revolver unfortunately." – said ClownFrog while handing new equipment to the GreyHunt.

"No problem. I still have my OP gun, so I should manage." – said GreyHunt.

Afterworlds, the entire party meet up and ClownFrog distrusted new items to Rampage and Shri.

Rampage only got a weapon and a shield, since she still had solid armor set from sobeks.

Anyway, after the items were distrusted and the entire party was armed, a meeting between party members commenced.

"Okay. Let's start our short meeting." – said ClownFrog.

"Right now, we have no chance of winning against the kingdom and the only way to have chance in winning this war is to fully resurrect the queen. But for that we need to gather materials."

"Fortunately, the Melody Tail tribe not only posses many of the necessary materials, but also they send all of their members out in order to gather some materials they don't have."

"However, there were two materials that they do not have nor know how to get them."

"But, we know where to get them and we already secured the tombstone core."

"And that leaves us with 1 more material. A sacrifice of a beast heart that contains a lot of vitality."

"The only monster we can get that heart from is an area boss located nearby called "Emperor Murder Scorpion."."

"With our current strength, we should be able to deal with it, but there are several problems."

"The first problem is that we don't know how strong our prey is."

"Not only that, but dying too many times is out of question. We need to get that thing heart ASAP."

"The tribes won't be able to support us in fighting against the emperor murder scorpion, meaning that our group of six will have to do it alone."

"It may seem like no problem, but you have to remember you idiots, we are dealing with area boss and not some field boss."

"It maybe lower level than us, but it doesn't mean its weak. Let your guard down and you may end up dead."

"Any questions?"

Oron raised his hand.

"How much time do we have exactly? We need to get materials from lamias and also get to the queen. There is also a distance that we need to travel between the places and also the fact that kingdom will take actions soon."

"With that all being said, how many attempts do we have?"

"1 or 2. Afterwords. Any more fail attempts will end up with catastrophic consequences." – said ClownFrog.

"This is a race against time right now. If we don't hurry, players and kingdom will destroy the revolution army and we won't be able to revive the queen."

"Pretty much game over."

"Fuck it. Let's do it on our first attempt." – said GreyHunt.

"Yea. If we are in hurry, then let's kill that fucker on our first try!" – said excited Rampage.

"Hm… I wonder if it will drop a monster egg? It would be overpower to have an area boss pet." – said Shri.

"I on the other hand are looking forward to the materials we can get from it! I wonder if could create my first epic rarity item with its materials." – said Blueberry.

"…"

(Huh. Would you look at that. Ever single of these bastards are excited about the situation.) – though ClownFrog.

(Well, I can't say that I'm not as well.)

(Since if we were to succeed and resurrect the queen, many lifes of both players and NPCs will be ruined and people will finally know about guild of villains called Purple Hyena guild.)

(It will be our opening.)

"Oh right. I almost forgot." – said ClownFrog.

"What is it?" – asked Shri.

"Well, I currently have a lot of skill points and stat points, so I've been wondering about getting myself a new class."

"?"

"Another mage class?" – asked Oron.

"Not exactly."

"Demonic priest?" – said Shri.

"I heard about those class." – said Oron.

"Its an unlockable class that you get from leveling up the dark priest class."

"There is also a counterpart version of the demonic priest, called divine priest that you can get from ranking up the light priest class."

"The demonic priest class provide the user with new extra stat called [Demonic Power] if I'm not mistaken."

"Yeb. I also invested more than 500 stat points into demonic power just now as well."

"The demonic priest is a pretty interesting class, but it doesn't provide a lot of skills.

"However, it does posses some interesting new classes if you rank it up enough."

(The demonic priest doesn't have a specialization, it has some buffs, debuffs and offensive skills. But it doesn't offer a lot of skills and there are other class that may appear way better than demonic priest or holy priest.)

(BUT its branched class you can unlock are what I'm aiming for. These things are interesting as well as powerful, they are also bit popular alongside the branched holy priest classes. My aim is to get one or two of those branched classes!)

(Not only that, I kind of thought of something.)

(There was a combination with dark priest and necromancer, right? Then is there a possibility that there is a necromancer class that is linked between demonic priest and necromancer? I really hope so, since it would be interesting.)

(Well, there is obvious problem that I would need to start putting some points into demonic energy, but it shouldn't bother me right now. I mean, I have multiple necromancer classes that each give me necro mastery points.)

(Still, I kind of made myself bit more vurnable to holy attribute, since both demonic and holy attributes hates each other and are effective against one another. It would be bit annoying to fight a holy element user now.)

"Huh. So, like what? You a demonic necromancer or something?" – asked GreyHunt.

"What are you? A main protagonist wanabe?"

"Wait, shit. Now that you mentioned it. Yea. It does make me look like the main protagonist wanabe with having power over death and demons."

"No. I'm not getting holy power, if you that is what you are thinking. It would work terrible with my race anyway."

"Anyway, get ready. We will start our first attempt in fighting that scorpion bastard today!"

The entire party began preparing themselves, checking their new equipment as well as checking if they have enough supplies.

Before long, the entire party left the cursed oasis and began heading to the murder scorpion nest.

"Hey! Rampage! That stone formation over there, is that the place?" – asked Oron while riding on the living sand running lizard.

"Yea! This is the place I found while I was looking for the lamias new home." – said Rampage while riding on the sand running lizard.

"This place was literally crawling to the brim with scorpions. I only took a look at that bastard back then, but it was giaganting. It was big as that Forgotten Bride we fought back then."

"Not only we will have to fight against that area boss, but there is also a freaking army of scorpions there."

"Then go wild. Kill everything you see. The more corpse than better." – said ClownFrog.

(Honestly, I don't know if we would be able to beat that area boss on our first try.)

(The boss we are talking about here is above level 200, meaning it isn't weakling.)

(True. We all are above level 300 and all, but we shouldn't look down on that thing at all.)

(That slave master was way lower level than me, but it was still annoying.)

(The question right now is, how strong is the area boss?)

(I did some looking around on the net and found out that each time somebody fought the area boss, it wasn't easy. Even with a group of 20 people.)

(Not only that, some area bosses were much stronger than others.)

(We maybe above level 300 and way stronger than average player, but we don't know how strong is that thing we will face.)

(There is also the fact that I really don't know how revolution army will hold back the enemy for. What if they decide to bring the players to their side from get go?)

(It's possible and this has high chance of happening, since a literally army of monsters appeared out of nowhere.)

(Even if the kingdom didn't request support, some people may still come here to hunt for EXP or try to get close to some high ranking figures.)

(There is also the fact that the mess had already spread on the internet and now MANY people know about it.)

"Fuck it. Let's try it on the first try." – said ClownFrog.

"Now that I think about our current situation, wasting too much time is dead sentence!"

"You hear me you bastards?!" – asked ClownFrog.

"Yea!" – replied everybody.
