Chapter 77: Freeze It All, Misty!!
Raiden picked the sleeping Woolie up from his room and made his way towards the stage for his semi-final match. This glutton had fallen asleep after eating while waiting for his turn.
"Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready for the semi-finals?!"
Amidst the audience’s cheers, both contestants walked up to the stage from opposite ends of the stage.
Raiden looked as dominating as ever in his clothes, as he slowly caressed Woolie in his hands, who was waking up from his sleep from all the noise.
"Woo..?" (⊙w⊙)?
Woolie slowly rubbed his eyes and opened them, and looked around the stadium. His eyes widened in surprise.
"You woke up, huh? Here I thought I had to get into the ring and fight myself." He teased the little sheep with his hand, who shook his head and jumped out of his arms onto the stage.
"Woolie Woo!!" Nonsense! Emperor Woolie here is already enough. You are too weak to fight anyone anyway.
Looking at the disdain on Woolie’s face when he talked about him, a tick formed on Raiden’s forehead as he tried to control his anger.
"Pfft—" A soft laughter rang in the distance as Raiden saw Marina standing there laughing at them.
Unlike her mother, she wore a fiery red princess gown, with black gloves and red high heels, which made her blue hair stand out even more.
Her partner Terra Beast was coiled around her right hand, his head resting on the other side of her shoulders, which somehow enhanced her beauty with its ice glacial look.
"You guys are so interesting, right, Misty?" Marina spoke while patting her Terran, who hissed back in reply.
"Ahem, are both contestants ready?" The referee intervened.
"Yes."
"Alright, let the match begin!!"
As soon as the referee finished his words, Marina’s Terran jumped out on the stage and started changing its size, reverting back to its four-meter size on the stage.
"Let’s show them what we’re made of, Misty! Freeze him!!"
"Miyuu~" The Glacial Serpent roared in a resonant voice and shot an ice beam towards Woolie, freezing everything in the straight line towards him.
"Woolie, dodge it and use Thunder Shock!!"
"Woo!!" Just as the ice beam was about to hit Woolie, he ran to the side before letting loose a big bolt of lightning towards Misty.
"Create an Ice Wall to block it," Marina commanded calmly. She had already analysed Woolie and his powers before the match. The conclusion??
It was the worst kind of matchup for her. Her Terran was closely connected to water and ice, while the other person had lightning. And due to basic physics laws, she would always be suppressed if she fought him head-on.
So she absolutely couldn’t get hit and not let him get close. According to her plan, she had only one chance, and one chance only to beat him, and she wasn’t going to waste it.
"Woolie, get close!! Use Quick Attack!!"
"Woo!!" Woolie dug its feet into the ground, braced itself before breaking into a run, looking like he disappeared from the spot.
A smile came onto her face; the match was going as predicted.
"Don’t let him get close, Misty!! Use Icicle Barrage!!"
"Miyuu~" Dozens of icicles started forming in the air before they launched themselves at Woolie, who had to dodge them, slowing him down a little bit.
"Create more obstacles, don’t let him get close!!" Marina commanded quickly as Misty started creating more ice walls in front of her.
First. Second. Third... Twelfth!!
Misty created twelve two-meter-thick walls in front of her, creating a staggering barrier that deterred anyone from getting close.
"Heh, you think that’s gonna stop us?! Charge head-on!! Use Horn Attack with Quick Attack!!" Raiden called out arrogantly as Woolie’s horns started glowing and growing bigger.
"Woolie!!" Finally!! Real Men don’t dodge anyway!! Here I come!!

Woolie stopped dodging all the attacks and started charging head-on towards Misty.
Whenever an icicle was about to fall on him, he used his horns to break it directly, not slowing at all.
In no time at all, he approached the first ice wall, running directly into it without hesitation.
Bang!!
The first wall.
Bang!!
The second wall.
Bang!!
The Third Wall!!
Bang!! Bang!! Bang!!
Woolie advanced with absolute dominance, with nothing seeming capable of slowing him down.
Misty narrowed her eyes as she saw him get closer and closer.
She wasn’t just waiting passively while he was getting close. Hidden from Raiden’s view, she had built two big walls on either side that directly connected her to the last wall, blocking passages from both sides, and a straight line path to her.
"Nine, ten, eleven!! Get ready, Misty!! He is coming!!"
"Miyu~!!"
BANG!!
Woolie broke through the last wall as he turned his head towards Misty and charged straight at her.
"Now, Misty!! Get close and coil yourself around him!! Don’t let him go!!" Marina shouted as her body started glowing blue with power.
Raiden, who was confident, felt something was amiss when he saw two large walls blocking the sides. His uneasy feeling grew stronger and stronger as he saw Misty charge head-on and coil its large body around Woolie, constricting him in place as she fired a direct beam of ice at Woolie.
He knew he fucked up when Marina’s body started shimmering blue.
"Woolie!! Break out of here!! Run back towards me!! Attack!!"
"Heh, it’s already too late!!"
Bang!!
Marina slammed her hand on the ground as a big wave of water burst out, rushing towards both Terra Beasts rapidly.
"Woolie!" Let me go, you fake aunt look-a-like!!
Woolie’s body erupted with flashes of violet thunder and lightning as he let out a discharge of thunder, shocking Misty.
"Miyu..." Misty let out a pained voice but still head on steadfastly, not letting Woolie move from the spot. She knew it was their only chance.
In no time at all, the wave of water was upon them, travelling in a straight line along the walls and submerging them completely.
"Got chu!! Freeze it all, Misty!!"
"Miyu~!!" In just a second, the water started turning into ice, creating a breathtaking and shimmering block of ice, encasing Woolie in place.
