After swallowing its pill, the System pressed the button on top of the grenade with one paw. Aiming with its other small paw at the center of the Single-horned Flood Dragon Beast pack, it let out a yelp and threw it.

Wu Yue froze in the middle of waving her witch’s wand. Tayun also stared blankly at a spot no more than ten meters away.

A pitch-black grenade lay right there, as conspicuous as could be.

The powerful explosion obliterated all the surrounding Single-horned Flood Dragon Beasts, and the immense blast force even snapped the nearby trees in half.

In the gloomy deep forest, the tremendously powerful explosion had actually blasted a clearing into existence.

The tremendously powerful blast thundered through the sky. It wasn’t just felt by the Fierce Beasts in the surrounding areas; even Yuan Lang and his party, who were cautiously advancing toward the territory of the Intermediate Fierce Beasts, felt it.

The ground shook violently, and the treetops swayed as if struck by a fierce gale—the blast had even sheared off half the canopy.

Yuan Lang and the other Beastman Warriors quickly dropped and clung to the nearest thick trees to keep their balance.

Their hearts pounded with fear. "Boss, what kind of Fierce Beasts are fighting? That’s terrifyingly powerful."

’Good grief. It’s a good thing we didn’t run into whatever that was, or we would’ve been blasted to smithereens.’

After waiting a moment longer and feeling no further powerful energy waves, Yuan Lang quickly got to his feet and hoisted an injured Beastman Warrior onto his back.

"Pick up the pace! We need to get out of here as soon as possible."

With grim expressions, the group helped each other carry their severely injured kinsmen and ran after Yuan Lang, heading for the exit.

When they had hunted the Single-horned Flood Dragon Beasts before, they knew the forest was dangerous. But whether due to their own caution or some other reason, they had never encountered a Fierce Beast this powerful.

But recalling the powerful energy wave from just a moment ago, they swallowed hard and quickened their pace.

It wasn’t just Yuan Lang’s party. At that same moment, the members of the Super Tribe, who were eating in a cave, first heard a violent rumbling.

A few of the injured Beastman Warriors were even knocked unconscious by the powerful blast.

After the Healing Witch used his witch power to alleviate the discomfort caused by the blast, the Messenger Beastman Captain quickly ordered everyone out of the cave.

The four Wizards had already stepped out of the cave, their expressions extremely grim. "It seems that Huaxia Witch was right. There are far more powerful Fierce Beasts in here. An energy wave of this magnitude is far beyond what we can handle. If only the Great Witch were here..."

"That’s enough."

Before the Poison Witch could finish, the Healing Witch cut him off. "Let’s wait for the Eagle Beastman’s report. If the source is close, we’re leaving immediately."

’We haven’t even seen the battlefield, yet the shockwave was this powerful. If we were any closer, or if the Fierce Beast that caused this massive energy fluctuation were to emerge...’

At this thought, the Healing Witch unconsciously clenched his fists.

’This deep forest... is far more dangerous than we ever imagined.’

After a long while, just as everyone was growing restless, the sound of flapping wings echoed from above. The Eagle Beastman scout landed, his face deathly pale.

"What happened?"

The Healing Witch looked at the Eagle Beastman, and the surrounding members of the Super Tribe all held their breath.

"After... after that Huaxia Witch went inside, we waited for a long time. Then, we started to faintly hear the cries of Fierce Beasts, and the sounds kept growing."

"The Huaxia Witch must have been surrounded, but we didn’t dare go down. The treetops were filled with dangerous auras."

"And then... then came that massive roar. It blew the few of us far away, and the others in our group were knocked unconscious."

"A huge, huge clearing was blasted open in the deep forest. It’s... it’s bigger than the Yan Yan Tribe’s entire settlement."

As he spoke, he swallowed hard with lingering fear.

The Healing Witch’s pupils shrank. He strode over to him. "Are you saying... that an energy fluctuation of that magnitude... was caused by the Huaxia Witch?"
