"Mom, that’s enough! Stop arguing!"
"Eleanor, how dare you yell at me now? It seems there’s truly no place for me in this family anymore." With that, Yara Ross burst into tears and ran out the door.
Watching Yara Ross leave in tears, Eleanor Bishop said softly, "Dad, please don’t stoop to her level. It hasn’t been easy for her either."
Harold Bishop waved his hand and said gravely, "Eleanor, don’t defend your mother. I know what she’s done."
"Dad, I’m so sorry. This is all my fault..." The thought that her mother had nearly killed her father filled her with overwhelming guilt. If something had actually happened, she would never have been able to forgive herself.
She knew exactly what kind of person her mother was, yet she had kept provoking her all day. ’This is all my fault.’
"You’ve done a wonderful job. I’m the one who’s useless. I’m the reason you’ve suffered so much."
"Dad, in my heart, you’ll always be the greatest man alive. And I’m not suffering, really. I’m not suffering at all..."

After storming out of the house, Yara Ross immediately called and booked a flight back to Tridell.
’Harold Bishop wants a divorce? Fine, let him have it. It’s not like she could stand this life any longer anyway.’
However, the thought of the Ross Family made her anxious.
She knew perfectly well that aside from her own mother, not a single person in the Ross Family would welcome her back. Returning there was not an option.
Yara Ross stewed outside for over an hour before a plan finally formed in her mind. And so, she returned home.
When she got home, Eleanor was in the kitchen cooking, while Harold Bishop was in his room on the phone. Seeing him on the call, Yara Ross curled her lip in a cold sneer.
’Honestly, who could a man who’d been in a coma for eight years possibly have to call the moment he wakes up?’
Eleanor saw her mother return but didn’t think much of it and simply continued cooking. It wasn’t until she had set all the dishes on the table that she realized her mother hadn’t yet emerged from her room.
She frowned slightly, glanced at her father, and asked in a low voice, "Is Mom still in her room?"
"Leave her. Let’s eat first."
"Dad, please go ask Mom to come out and eat. After all, we weren’t completely in the right today either. She has every right to be angry." Though she was truly fed up with her mother’s way of thinking and acting, at the end of the day, she didn’t really want her parents to divorce.
"I’m not going. You go. But let me tell you, Eleanor, your mother and I are getting a divorce. That is final!"
Hearing Harold’s words, Eleanor let out a helpless sigh. "Dad..."
But the word had barely left her lips when she saw her mother emerge from the room, dragging a suitcase.
"Harold Bishop, let me tell you something! You’re not divorcing Yara Ross. I, Yara Ross, am divorcing you, Harold Bishop!" At this, Yara Ross shot an angry glare at Harold Bishop and continued, "And another thing, Harold Bishop! I’ve been married to you for over thirty years! You were lying in that sickbed for more than eight of them, and I served you day in and day out as if you were an emperor! Even if I get no credit for my accomplishments, you have to at least acknowledge my toil! You should at least..."
His face darkening, Harold Bishop angrily cut her off. "Don’t worry. I, Harold Bishop, won’t treat you unfairly. After the divorce, the house is yours. And I won’t be shorting you on the money, either."
"Fine. As if I don’t know whether you have money or not. Harold Bishop, you’re the one who said the house is mine. I don’t want your money. So don’t you dare say that Yara Ross has no regard for the bond we shared as husband and wife. For now, you can stay here temporarily. You can move out once you’ve found a place of your own."
