Reincarnation Of The Legendary Sword Saint

Chapter 108: Know Your Place

It took a while before the butler handed every male student their card.

Meanwhile, Rowan and Neville were inside the building, moving from door to door, checking the numbers on their cards.

Then Neville stopped.

"Oh, I already see mine. Well, see you tomorrow," Neville said.

Rowan nodded.

Neville walked off.

Rowan adjusted his bag, lifting it over his shoulder as he continued searching.

As he reached the upper floor, where the Class A students stayed, he saw two students standing in the hallway.

Christopher.

And another named Leo.

They were talking to each other, completely blocking the path.

Rowan walked up to them.

"Hey, excuse me," he said calmly.

Christopher glanced at him briefly, then looked away.

Leo didn’t even react.

Rowan frowned slightly.

"Can you move? I need to pass through."

Both of them paused.

Christopher and Leo looked at Rowan.

Shocked.

What?

This guy...

Christopher’s eyes narrowed.

He’s from Class D... or maybe Class C.

And he’s talking to us like this?

Leo stepped forward slightly.

"Stay there," he said coldly. "Even if it takes an hour for us to finish talking, you’ll wait. Unless you want trouble."

Rowan’s expression didn’t change.

So it’s true.

He remembered hearing it before.

Class A students look down on everyone else.

Back in Class D, he never cared.

He could’ve pushed past them easily.

But now...

He exhaled slightly.

I’m really not in the mood for this.

"Move," Rowan said, his voice low.

Christopher’s eyes sharpened.

"Didn’t you hear what he said?"

Rowan’s gaze didn’t waver.

"I said move. Unless..."

Christopher raised his hand.

A sword appeared instantly.

A red aura burst out, wrapping around his body.

The pressure spread through the hallway.

Leo did the same.

Another red aura flared beside him.

The air grew heavy.

Some nearby students stopped walking.

They turned to watch.

"What the hell..."

"Who’s that kid?"

"He’s done for..."

"He actually pissed off Class A..."

"It’s better if he kneels and apologizes," one student whispered.

Christopher smirked slightly.

Even with the aura pressing down...

That kid...

He frowned.

Why isn’t he reacting?

My aura alone should make it hard for him to breathe.

But he’s just standing there.

No fear.

Not even a little.

Leo stepped forward.

"How dare you keep looking us in the eyes?" he said coldly. "Move back."

Rowan stood still.

Unmoving.

Unshaken.

His eyes calm.

As if none of it mattered.

Rowan smiled faintly.

"So... you’re trying to scare me with that aura of yours?" he said calmly. "At best, it would barely kill a fly."

Christopher’s expression darkened instantly.

In the next second, he threw a punch straight at Rowan’s face.

Rowan didn’t move.

He only smiled.

Just as the fist was about to connect—

"Stop."

A voice cut through the air.

Christopher’s punch froze mid-motion.

His body stiffened.

The red aura around him flickered... then began to fade.

"What do you think you’re doing?" the teacher said coldly as she stepped forward. "Fighting in the hallway?"

Christopher clicked his tongue.

"Tch... this is bad," he muttered.

"I saw everything," the teacher continued. "You were blocking his path. Move along. Now."

Christopher and Leo frowned, clearly annoyed.

They both glanced at Rowan one last time before turning away.

Without another word, they walked off.

The hallway slowly relaxed.

The pressure disappeared.

Then the teacher turned to Rowan.

"And you," she said sharply. "How dare you speak to your seniors like that?"

Rowan looked at her calmly.

"I saw what you almost did. Talking big like that will get you hurt," she continued. "If I hadn’t stepped in, do you know what would’ve happened to you?"

Rowan said nothing.

"This isn’t your old place," she added. "Here, everyone is equal. If you get punched in the face, your family won’t save you."

There was a brief silence.

Rowan sighed lightly.

"Oh... really?" he said.

Then he stepped forward.

"Well, move. I’m tired."

The teacher was slightly taken aback.

But she instinctively stepped aside.

Rowan walked past her without another word.

She turned, frowning as she watched him leave.

Rowan continued down the hallway, found his room, and opened the door.

The following day, as Rowan was about to enter the main school building, the same teacher from last night approached him.

"Hey. Follow me," he said.

Rowan paused, glancing at the other students walking into the building.

Then, without a word, he followed.

They entered the building together.

The teacher turned down a corridor to the left, heading toward the office area.

After a few steps, he stopped in front of a door.

"Go in," he said coldly. "You disrespectful child."

Rowan frowned slightly.

What is this about?

He pushed the door open and stepped inside.

Then he saw him.

Seated behind a desk—

Sword God Michael.

Rowan’s eyes narrowed slightly.

"Hey, you. Step forward," Michael said.

Rowan walked forward calmly.

Michael leaned back slightly in his chair, his gaze sharp.

"Is what I heard true?" he asked. "You disrespected a teacher... and also a fellow student?"

Rowan tilted his head slightly.

"Whether it’s true or not," he said calmly, "that same teacher who reported me to you—are you planning to scold me?"

His tone remained steady.

"Or should you be using that time to question those two students instead?"

A brief silence filled the room.

"You all treat Class A like they’re something special," Rowan continued. "Even when they’re clearly in the wrong."

"Shut the hell up."

Michael’s voice turned cold instantly.

"Who said you could speak?"

The pressure in the room shifted.

"Do you know who I am?"

Rowan said nothing.

Michael leaned forward slightly.

"I’ve looked into you," he continued. "I know who you are. I know your father... your mother... even your grandfather."

His gaze hardened.

"So don’t think you can act cocky in this academy because of your background."

"Know your place."

Rowan’s expression didn’t change.

Instead, he slowly pulled out a chair and sat down across from Michael.

Then crossed his legs.

"And what exactly do you mean by that?" Rowan asked calmly.

Michael frowned.
