Reincarnation Of The Legendary Sword Saint

Chapter 109: Last Warning

"You’re just like your father," he said. "Carefree. Saying whatever you want."

His tone carried clear displeasure.

"Don’t do that here, Rowan."

Rowan’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Now I see...

My dad told me about him.

A powerful Sword God.

But this...

Rowan leaned back slightly in his chair.

For some reason...

It feels like he has a grudge against my father.

"Hey, can’t you see I’m talking to you?" Michael snapped.

"Well, tell me—are you done?" Rowan replied calmly.

Michael’s face froze. His arm was still wrapped in bandages from the last fight, yet he slowly looked at Rowan and said, "Hey, mind the way you speak to me. You know who I am. Mind your manners."

"I don’t care who you are, or who your family is," Rowan said evenly.

Michael’s eyes widened in shock. "Oh, really? You almost died yesterday, and you’re trying to lecture me? You lost to a demon! Shouldn’t you be ashamed?"

Rowan’s voice sharpened. "You lost. You almost died. And yet you dare speak like that?"

Michael’s expression darkened. "You bastard! You’re just as foolish as your father. Do you know what I just faced?"

The room went silent. Then, instantly, the air thickened. Rowan’s aura began to rise, calm but suffocating.

"Don’t ever speak my father’s name with your mouth again," Rowan said, his tone icy. "This is the last time. I don’t care who you are. Next time you step out of line... say something about my family... even if you think you’re a big shot... I will still kill you."

Michael staggered slightly, feeling the overwhelming presence. His words caught in his throat.

What the hell? This kid...

Rowan remained calm, his aura serene yet terrifying.

"If that is all you wanted to say, then I’ll take my leave," Rowan continued. He rose from the chair and walked out without another word.

Michael remained frozen, still processing the scene. The aura he had just felt—it was unlike anything he had ever encountered. Calm, controlled, but lethal. Dangerous.

As Rowan walked out of the room, he raised a hand to his face. "Damn it. Once again... I snapped. Sometimes I just can’t help it when people talk about my family. I need a bit more self-control. Well... he can think whatever he wants. He knows what’s powerful. He knows my aura is strong. Still, he’s not exactly smart," he muttered to himself.

The hall was empty. Really empty. He paused, looking around. "I don’t even know where my class is," he thought.

A teacher approached him. "Hey, please. Are you looking for your class?"

"Yes. I don’t know where it is," Rowan replied.

"What class are you in, and who is your instructor?" she asked.

"Class D, Sword Saint," Rowan answered.

"Oh, follow me then," she said. She led him down the hall, then stopped and pointed. "Go in. This is your class."

"Thank you," Rowan said. He nodded as she walked away.

Inside, the classroom buzzed with students. Teacher Lisa, who was in the middle of a lesson, turned sharply. "Hey! What are you doing coming in so late? Why are you entering the classroom now?"

Before Rowan could answer, she pointed toward the seats. "Go to your seat. Find your place."

Rowan glanced around, then saw Neville waving him over. As he made his way to his seat,

He sat beside Neville.

"Hey, man, where were you? Why didn’t you come to class on time?" Neville asked.

"Shit... it’s a long story. Let’s not talk about it now," Rowan replied in a low voice.

Neville nodded. Rowan set his bag down and took out his jotter, carefully copying everything written on the board and noting every important point the teacher said.

After the bell rang, the teacher walked out of the class.

Neville pulled out a lunchbox. "Hey, this is for you. Someone was looking for you and brought this along," he said.

Rowan took it, opened it, and smiled. "I didn’t even realize I haven’t eaten a single thing since morning," he said as he started eating.

Suddenly, a voice rang out through the wind amplifier device.

"All D-class students, report to the training chamber. Leave the classroom immediately. Training begins now."

"What the hell? It’s starting this fast?" Rowan muttered.

Rowan quickly rushed through his food and stood up from his seat. Curious, he glanced around and locked eyes with a velqira nearby. She looked away immediately. "What the hell is going on? Is she avoiding me?" Rowan thought, shaking his head.

Rowan finished his lunch and drank some water as all the students filed out of the classroom.

A man in a black suit was waiting outside. "Follow me, please," he instructed.

The school was massive, and the students walked together until they reached a huge metallic door. The door opened on its own.

"Wow... what the hell? Did you see that?" someone whispered.

The man in the suit explained, "This is a very thick metallic door powered by magical energy from beneath the academy. That same energy powers every piece of equipment and the school building itself."

As they entered, the students saw rows of chairs surrounding a large arena-like space. The ground was entirely metallic, giving the place the look of a battle arena.

"Wow, this is so huge." Students were looking around, checking everything out. "This is amazing," someone said in awe.

Velqira walked over to Rowan. "Hey, I want to talk," she said.

"Okay, fine," Rowan replied. "What is it?"

"Well... tell me," Velqira said, "who is that lady?"

"What do you mean?" Rowan asked.

"That lady who was holding your hand in the carriage," Velqira clarified.

Rowan blinked. "Like I said... she’s my personal maid," he said.

"Is that so? Are you sure?" Velqira asked.

"Yeah. Why are you asking me this?" Rowan replied, staying quiet.

Velqira didn’t say anything for a moment. Rowan just nodded, about to turn away.

Then she paused. "Wait," she said. "Today, ... when it’s our turn, pick me. Let’s spar. I know you’re stronger than me, but I want to spar with you."
