Alpha's Lost Luna Returns With His Twins

Chapter 348-All Gone Wrong

Lara:

Seeing Iris again felt like a slap to my face. I wanted to scream at her and ask why she could not just fucking leave me alone.

I was out of their pack, out of their lives. Why did she have to come here and plan this nasty game? For what? To dig into my business?

My mood soured when I realized I had been fucking spilling my secrets to this bitch all along. Honestly, it worried me because with those secrets, she could ruin whatever was left of my life.

"Well, you have been talking to me this whole time. How did you feel about confessing everything?" she asked, making my jaw drop.

I began to look around, and I noticed warriors emerging from the tunnel.

Kash was standing right behind me.

My eyes softened at the sight of him.

He looked so fresh, so sexy in all black. I wanted to touch him, to go back in time and make him mine.

I could not believe I had lost such a handsome man. My head reeled back to when I was with him, when he was mine.

"Kash," I started, trying to go to him.

After everything I had been through, losing my child and hearing that I could never get pregnant again, I really needed his hug. His strong, warm embrace was the only thing that could comfort me.

I knew that much. However, it seemed he did not see it that way.

My tear-strained face did not stir his heart, not even a bit. I knew it the moment he frowned at me, almost in disgust.

He raised his hand to stop me, and I froze.

"Kash," I repeated, saying his name with more softness and gentleness. "Do you know what happened to me?" I asked him, placing my hand on my chest.

"I felt sick," I uttered. "Then they took me to the hospital, and it was revealed I had lost my child, our child."

I spoke in a very soft, dramatic tone, forcing tears from my eyes. He kept watching me, no expression on his face.

"And they told me I could never be pregnant again." I cried as I tried to reach him, but he placed his hand on my shoulder and pushed me back.

All the expressions on my face went numb. He was suddenly so brutal with me.

"You don’t even feel bad for me? I can’t even ask for a simple act of empathy?" I questioned him, hurt by how harsh he was being.

He was probably acting that way because he had Iris with him, and he knew she would get offended if he hugged me. But when he finally opened his mouth, I realized I could not have been more wrong.

"So you killed that warrior’s child too?" he questioned, hinting that he knew the baby wasn’t his.

I mean he did, and made sure he told me that he did not need to do a DNA test.

"And you have killed your father’s children?" he asked.

There was bitterness in his tone, making me feel even more ashamed of myself.

"No, that is not true," I immediately refused to admit, shaking my head and pouting.

"You just admitted it yourself a minute ago," I spoke up, making myself look at her as I groaned inwardly.

I wanted to yell at her so badly, but she was now the queen everyone respected, so I could not disrespect her, especially with Kash standing right beside her, nodding to whatever she said.

But they took me for a fool. I was not going to admit to my crimes, and I was going to defend myself to my last breath.

"I was just lying to the monster to get powers," I stated, trying to make excuses for myself as if that would somehow make things better.

"You’re a very toxic person. Your arrest has been long overdue," Iris spoke from behind me.

I turned around to point at her, to tell her to stay away and stay out of it.

But suddenly, the warriors approached me.

"You’re under arrest for the murder of innocent children and infants, for plotting against the Alpha King, for deceiving Iris, the Luna Queen, and getting her assaulted by Markus, and for what you did to Red."

As the crimes were listed one after another, I dropped to my knees, shaking terribly.

I swallowed hard at the mention of Red.

"Who is Red?" I asked, smiling as I turned my head to Kash and then looked back at Iris.

"The name I mentioned earlier to the monster was made up. There is no one named Red." I freaked out.

"I was lying," I stated, laughing to show them they were idiots to believe my words.

"Of course I was lying," I repeated, smiling like a fool at them.

They had a look on their faces that told me they did not believe me.

"You cannot do this to me. You cannot arrest me. If I go anywhere from here, it will be to Kash’s home. In his arms," I screamed as the warriors grabbed me.

"Kash, you will never have anyone better than me. Please, no," I cried.

Then I saw Kash pull Iris closer and place his hand on her stomach.

And I realized I had lost everything.

Every single thing.

"Well, Red is a real person," Kash snapped, and I stopped resisting, turning to look at him.

"How do you know that? You don’t know that," I said, swallowing hard while he stared into me, like a deep abyss.

That was when he started to tell me how he knew about her, and I realized I was far more clueless than I had thought all this time.

"That bitch," I grunted when Kash told me how he had known about my crimes for years because that slut had gotten away.

That was what I had been thinking.

Usually, Red would be all over the place in our pack, crying.

Every time she saw me, she would run to my car and throw stones at it.

There were many times I asked my warriors to beat the fuck out of her, but somehow they would feel so bad for her that they would leave her alone.

And besides, my father did not want her to die.

But I noticed how quickly my father discarded her once she became ugly.

That day had been so fulfilling when I watched her writhe and cry, rolling on the ground and trying to put the fire out.

Even the thought had excited me for years.

But now I realized that she had fucking escaped our hold and had gotten us into so much trouble.

I was beyond pissed off.

"That poor woman came to me asking for help. She told me all about your heinous crimes. And honestly, she made it easy for me to play you because after I found out what a bitch you are, I did not feel guilty for using you to get cure for my beloved mate and my child," Kash explained, making my heart drop at everything he said.

At this point, it was not just an excuse I could make about Red being a lie I had used. Now they had a witness, a victim.

What was even more fucked up was that Red had ruined my reputation.

And now, even as an alpha’s daughter, I looked like a bad person while Iris stood beside me like some respectable queen. Everyone was noticing the contrast, and I hated it.

I spared Red’s life because I felt bad for her, and this is how she repaid me.

It honestly proved that some people do not deserve your kindness. They do not deserve mercy.

If I had killed her when I had the chance, I would not have to go through so much humiliation.

However, as the warriors gathered around me, I realized I needed to come up with a quick excuse.

I needed to make Kash feel bad for me, or at least Iris. I needed an excuse to stay out of prison, because the prison world was not for a gentle queen like me.

"My children. I have children. I have to tend to them. If you take me away from them, who will take care of them?" I cried again as they dragged me toward the tunnel.

I wondered where the monster had gone.

That was when a voice came that covered my skin in goosebumps.

"Their father is still alive."

I looked toward the tunnel.

And I watched Luca step out, his hands in his pants pockets, looking relaxed, not like someone who had been abused in prison.

I stared at his face and then looked back at Iris and Kash.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" I groaned at him.

Now this was something completely beyond me. Why the heck had he arrived here?

I just did not understand anything.

Why was he talking like he knew me or knew my children? What the fuck did he mean by the father being alive? What would he know?
