Alpha's Lost Luna Returns With His Twins

Chapter 341-Far Away From Him Now

Lara:

I tried to call Kash many times during the car ride, but he did not pick up, so I began to message him.

Me: Baby, please give me a chance. I’m not that bad of a person.

Me: You know Iris played a game with you. She knew that Marcus was going to make a plan to put her in a position where it would seem like there was something going on between them, and she let it happen. Don’t you see that?

As I hit send, I rubbed my face in my hands.

Me: Baby, just try to understand me. I’m not a bad person. Please.

Once I sent the message, I began to feel dizzy again.

Me: Kash, I know you’re upset with me, but trust me, I thought it was the right thing to do. And don’t you think it is better when someone realizes their mistake and apologizes?

No matter how many messages I sent him, he did not respond, and I started to get anxious.

Then suddenly, his call came through.

I smiled to myself, sniffling and wiping away my tears.

"I knew you would call," I spoke up the minute I answered his call.

It was not much but just a moment that I could use to convince him that I deserve a second chance.

"Kash, I’m so glad you gave me a chance to listen to me. Now listen, trust me, I made a mistake because they made such a perfect plan. Your sister and Iris made sure I fell for it, and because I’m innocent and naive, I did," I said in one breath."I’m telling you, Zoe,and Iris are not so innocent. Imagine, how can they be innocent when they constructed such a precise plan, waited for so long, and even suffered through torture just to reach a perfect ending? That should prove they are evil."

A scoff came from the other side, and I realized it was not Kash.

"Seriously? So even after everything, you’re going to blame me again?" Iris snapped.

I was stunned.

I was not allowed to touch Kash’s phone, yet here she was, holding it, responding to me, and listening to my attempts to get him to give me a chance.

I felt ashamed and embarrassed.

"So now you will be answering his calls too?" I asked, my voice caught in my throat.

"Seriously, how shameless are you, Lara? After you have been exposed, do you still have the nerve to call my husband and question him for accepting me? Just give up already. Your time is over." She hissed at me in a very disrespectful tone, reminding me that she had won.

"And stop fucking calling my husband’s phone. Leave him alone, you bitch," she snapped before hanging up the call.

My mouth hung open in shock as I stared at the screen.

This was the woman who did not have the nerve to even open her mouth before, but now she was here, talking back and acting cocky.

All because Kash gave her confidence.

Finally, my pack arrived after hours of me crying alone.

I got out and dragged myself toward the entrance, feeling so weak as if I would pass out at any second.

"What is going on?" my father asked the moment I entered his mansion, looking completely defeated.

I had cried the entire way home.

"Why are you back? Did something happen? Did Kash upset you? Did the two of you fight over honeymoon issues?"

My father kept throwing questions at me, but he forgot to ask the most important one.

"He played me."

That was all I managed to say before I started to collapse.

My father rushed forward and grabbed my arms to keep me on my feet.

"What are you saying?" he asked, fear and worry flickering in his eyes.

"Father, he fucking played us both," I repeated.

"Carry her. Carry her to the living room. What are you standing there for?" my father shouted at the guards.

They rushed forward and carried me to the living room, placing me gently on the sofa.

The maids gathered around me, bringing water and trying to help.

"Father, I am so sorry that I asked you to turn a blind eye to my love," I said as tears filled my eyes.

"But the man we trusted only wanted our crown. And after that, he discarded me."

I spoke with difficulty, my voice cracking every few seconds.

"No, that cannot be. He said he loved you. Wait. What happened there?" my father asked.

It was not easy for him to understand my words.

He still believed that I must have misunderstood something.

"Father, he..." I paused, closing my eyes and biting my tongue.

"Father, he chose Iris over me and kicked me out." I broke down while my father scrunched his nose.

"This is nonsense. I will call the council and the elders and drag him to court," my father shouted angrily.

"No, it will change nothing. It is all over."

I started to cry hysterically, reaching for my face to scratch my skin off, but my father held my hands. He realized how serious it was.

I was losing my mind, feeling defeated in every way.

"You need to calm down. Tell me exactly what happened," my father said, shaking me as he held my arms.

The warriors brought water for me, but I thrashed the tray to the ground.

"You do not get it. He played me," I yelled, watching my father’s eyes widen.

"Remember when he told us he was going to get rid of Iris and that he was planning an entire honeymoon for me? Well, that was all a lie."

I screamed and broke down in front of my father.

"I saw the pictures of Iris. She was beaten up," my father said, trying to put the pieces together.

"Well, Father, that was a lie too," I replied, sniffling hard.

"They played us. They did us so fucking dirty. All this time when we thought he was getting rid of Iris, he was lying to me. And I should have told you this earlier, but even when we got back home, he tried to reject me. But I told him I was pregnant."

As soon as I said that, my father’s eyes widened in disbelief.

"Why didn’t you tell me he had tried to reject you?" my father shouted.

I covered my ears.

"I know I made a mistake. I should have told you," I admitted.

If I had told him everything earlier, many things might have been different.

At least my father would have pressured him into keeping me.

Instead, I took matters into my own hands and created a stupid, weak plan that failed horribly.

So I began explaining everything to my father from start to finish.

I watched him tear up as he listened.

"What have you done?" he whispered.

"Why didn’t you stop when you got pregnant with his child? You should have stopped."

He spoke as if it were simple.

"Stop? You mean to share him with her?" I asked, pointing angrily into the air when mentioning that bitch.

"You tried your way. Did it work?" my father snapped.

"The truth is, you have been very careless," he continued.

"Did you forget that he is an Alpha King? Of course he would investigate everything before punishing his wife. And the fact that they played you–I do not even know what to say anymore."

His words made me sniffle harder.

"Can’t you do anything?" I asked, staring at him.

My father looked at me with wide eyes.

"What do you want me to do?" he asked.

"Punish them. Get them arrested. Do something," I demanded.

But my father only shook his head in disbelief.

"Do you have any idea what you are saying? You have been caught committing a crime. You lied to the Alpha King and planned an entire scheme against him. Do you have any idea what we are going to face now?"

His words frightened me even more.

I had expected him to boldly take my side.

Instead, he seemed more afraid than I was.

"They cannot do that," I muttered before biting my tongue.

But my father noticed immediately.

"Right. He cannot do that," my father said slowly, a wide smile spreading across his face.

"You are carrying his child. There is no way he can kick you out like that."

He smiled while speaking, and I swallowed hard.

"Lara, what is it?" my father asked.

This time his tone was harsh.

He had realized I was still hiding something from him.

"Nothing," I lied, shaking my head.

"I just need to rest."

I tried to stand, and my father helped me by holding my hand.

I knew how he felt.

What Kash had done to us was terrible.

He had taken our crown, our pack, everything. And then he threw me out of his life as if I meant nothing.
