And even though he had a lot of equipment and tools with him, he still doesn’t have some of the equipment that works faster in analyzing things, as it’s still hard to get a lot of them, so he only has them in his lab on the mothership and in his lab in the army.

If he had those things he could certainly be able to research faster unfortunately he doesn’t have any of them so he could only research things at a slower phase.

"Then don’t rush too much and study them slowly. We still have a lot of time as we will have to stay here for a week or two, so don’t always forget to take a rest when it’s resting time."

Ryzel just nodded and didn’t say anything else, because he knew that he would probably still forget the time when he was invested in his research.

He had already been trying to change his habit, but every time he was engrossed in his research, he would still do the same afterwards.

And Layton certainly understood why he only nodded, because he added, "Don’t worry, I will surely check on you every time it’s time for a break."

Ryzel just gave Layton a smile afterwards, as he would probably have to rely on him regarding his break time. After giving Layton a smile, he asked, "We are going to stay here for a week or two?"

"Yes, because the amount of energy detected is actually a lot. And if we manage to discover more energy in other areas aside from the area that we are in, then we will probably have to stay in this frozen land longer than two weeks."

"I see. Even if we have to stay in this land for a longer time, I still hope that we could actually discover more energy crystals in this frozen land," Ryzel said. It’s not easy to find such good energy sources that were already compatible and could be used with just a few steps of refinement.

They weren’t sure how far they were away from the Federation, so it’s still better to have more energy reserves so that they won’t suddenly run out of energy while traveling back later.

"It’s indeed better to have more, so after getting the energy crystals here, we will try to look for more to see if we could get more. I’ll update one of the detectors and input the data of the energy crystals here so that it could detect them even if they are deeper underground."

Ryzel nodded after listening to what Layton said. He wasn’t familiar with such detectors, but if it could indeed detect the energy crystals more specifically, then it would be good.

After speaking, Layton pulled him towards his lap and said, "Okay, the time for serious discussion is over."

"Then, what time is it for?" Ryzel asked while his hands were already on the buttons of Layton’s shirt.

"Of course, it’s time for our nightly workout together," Layton answered slowly while already trailing on his neck and then kissed him on his lips. Layton didn’t let him go quickly, so Ryzel didn’t bother responding anymore and just focused on kissing Layton back. They spent a few hours enjoying their night again before they finally slept.

In the morning, Ryzel woke up after his alarm sounded. He immediately woke up and turned off the alarm on his wrist and greeted Layton, who had also woken up beside him.

Layton gave him a peck on his lips before greeting him and asked, "Are you going to start your research earlier?"

"Yes, I plan to start earlier so that I can find out more information."

"Okay, I’ll just cook our breakfast."

"Then, I’ll help you prepare."

"No need. I had already prepared the ingredients needed for our meals for a month, so I’ll just cook them."

Since there was no need to do anything else, Ryzel just watched Layton cooking again.

He didn’t start his research or read any data because he knew that he might become absorbed in it again and delay his breakfast, so he just watched Layton cook.

Well, watching Layton cook was also good in its own way, so most of the time he would watch Layton cooking food for him.

The feeling of someone taking care of him again always felt good, and he could always feel it with Layton.

So, aside from enjoying how handsome Layton was when he was cooking, he also watched Layton cook most of the time because he could feel that Layton was really thinking about him.

While he was lost in thought thinking about those things, he suddenly saw Layton staring at him closely.
