Chapter 414: Revenge Taken
The experience that Amos received under Michael left him almost broken. Eventually, he had to admit, Michael was a devil.
This time, he admitted, despite all that he had done, at least, he had never really made someone suffer as Michael had made him do.
The pain that he had experienced over a duration of almost two hours, it almost made him feel as if an entire lifetime had gone by. Eventually, he even began failing to identify where he was, and what he was doing.
Basically, the pain that he had been exposed to almost made him completely break down.
Michael had used almost all the equipment that he had purchased from the system store. Each and every one of them had its own way of torturing someone.
The Pressure Restraint Chair held Amos firmly in place with padded restraints. As the session continued, Amos’s muscles slowly became tense, the chest rose and fell with heavier breaths, and his entire body shook under what felt like a growing invisible force.
The pressure spread evenly across his body, creating severe discomfort while leaving no obvious external injuries.
The Thermal Stress Pod enclosed Amos inside, where the surrounding temperature repeatedly changed between intense heat and extreme cold.
The body reacted, sweating during the hot cycle and shivering during the cold cycle. The constant change prevented the body from becoming comfortable, creating continuous physical and mental strain.
The Muscle Fatigue Stimulator on the other hand was connected to the body through contact pads placed against the skin. During the session, the muscles repeatedly tightened and relaxed on their own, causing rapid exhaustion without requiring Amos to exercise.
And as the fatigue built up, his body became weak, his limbs trembled, and even simple movements became difficult.
Each device caused Amos to experience hell. He had never thought that in this world, there was actually someone crazy, capable of creating such devices.
Amos thought to himself, if he really managed to get out of here, and got to know who it was that made these devices, he would pay them a visit. They had to understand just what kind of pain these devices could cause.
After using four of the five devices that he had purchased, Michael gazed at the old man that was currently lying on the floor. He had already lost interest in continuing with the torture.
During the past over 2 hours, the old man had been continuously screaming, and most of the anger that Michael had had already been vented.
Nonetheless, that did not imply that he was intending to let the old man go. Since he had killed his parents, even though there was no conflict between them, then Michael would not spare him.
Amos was drenched in sweat, as he sat in the corner of the room. Looking at him, apart from his breathing that was uneven, and his clothes that were drenched, nobody would be able to tell that he had been tortured.
All the equipment that Michael had used did not cause any external damage. At least, it was not something that someone could see just with their naked eyes.
It was easy to be able to tell that Amos had experienced a lot by looking at his expression and eyes. But more than that, it was impossible to tell what he really had experienced.
Since he had already made a decision, Michael did not continue wasting time. Looking at the old man who seemed to be lost, he did not intend to say a word to him.
Instead, he just used the telekinesis ability, before quickly twisting the old man’s head. The power of the advanced telekinesis ability was something that no human could handle.
Only mutants had a chance of doing it, but only the powerful ones. After all, this advanced telekinesis ability allowed Michael to be able to manipulate objects with a maximum weight of 15,000 tones, a maximum of 300 objects at a time, and within a range of 1.5 km.
Using such an overpowered ability on an ordinary human, of course, it was impossible for Amos to be able to resist.
Therefore, before the old man could even react, his neck had already been snapped. His entire body lost strength as it began subconsciously convulsing.
Michael did not bother to look at what would happen next, as within just a few seconds, the old man would be on his way to the hell.
Using the neural relay earpiece, he asked Onyx to contact Vincent, to come and clear the scene. Vincent was a bio human that Michael had bought when he saved Marion.
This bio human was in charge of cleaning scenes like this, and erasing evidence. It was Vincent who had dealt with Nathan and Brian, the father son duo.
Until now, nobody knows that the two had died. Yes, some people could make guesses, but they could not clearly identify that it was true that the two had died.
Therefore, it was still a mystery as to how those two had disappeared after they had gone to Brenton city. Probably, Amos had already realized that the two had died, which was why the old man had been putting a lot of effort in order to deal with him.
Immediately after making sure that Onyx had informed Vincent about this, Michael stepped out of the room.
Previously, he had intended to keep the old man for a few more days. And during those days, the old man would obviously be experiencing hell. But just after a little over 2 hours, Michael had completely lost interest in torturing the old man.

"It seems that the situation with the Blood Reapers Syndicate has caused quite some chaos within the city! I really never expected that there was going to be a mutant that would act so blatantly within the city, eliminating several mutants in broad daylight." Lina exclaimed as she gazed into the distance.
She was currently sitting inside a small coffee shop near the outskirts of the capital. Sitting on the opposite side of the table was none other than Kate.
The two ladies had gone out to deal with a few gangsters. For someone like Lina, she did not really need this. But it was completely different for Kate.
It was Lina’s responsibility to ensure Kate’s safety. And obviously, the best way of ensuring that was by making sure that Kate was capable of handling most of the problems by herself.
It was because of this that Lina insisted on bringing Kate over, so that they could deal with some of the ordinary gangsters within the city.
Of course, while they could be considered ordinary within the capital, if they went to smaller cities like Brenton city, they could easily dominate the entire city’s underworld.
Since the previous day, they had dealt with quite a number of gangsters. With the skills that Lina possessed, it was quite easy for her to be able to find the information on those gangsters. (She is a bio human of the same model as Adrian, capable of learning skills.)
Therefore, she made sure that they targeted the small groups of gangsters that were not related to the big forces. While she was not afraid of those big forces, it could easily lead to chaos if she began dealing with them.
And of course, that was not what she was aiming for. She wanted to steadily deal with the gangsters, allowing Kate to be able to gain experience.
Of course, with the current strength that Kate possessed, most of the gangsters could not even get close to her before they were dealt with.
But, because this was for experience, none of the two ladies really used their abilities. Additionally, those small gangs did not have any mutants.
Because of this, all that they needed to pay attention to was the guns that the gangsters possessed. But for the two ladies, even just using their current physical strength, it was not much of a problem for them to be able to deal with these situations.
Kate’s ability could not be detected by the systems of the observation center, which usually monitors mutant activity. After all, the ability that she had was kind of considered passive.
It allowed her to be able to adapt to different situations. But if she got stronger, that would no longer be considered an ability, instead, it would be considered personal strength.
Because of this, even if she used her full strength, those devices would not be able to detect that she was a mutant.
"Well, I guess it is because of Michael? You know, there was this mutant that came to assassinate him. In the end, Michael dealt with him, before instructing him to deal with the high level members of the syndicate.
It is just that we did not expect that this guy would act so brazenly. And it is quite surprising to me that there is still investigation being carried out, even though I’m sure that quite a number of people saw him." Kate shook her head as she responded.
Of course, she kind of understood that this might be related to the connection that Jackson had with that institution. Since he was still part of that institution, most probably, he would not suffer any consequences of his actions.
Additionally, apart from causing chaos, he did not reveal anything about mutants to the public. Instead, the thing that cost the public to go into panic was the consecutive gunshots that were heard.
Lina was surprised when she heard Kate’s response. She wanted to say something when suddenly, she received a call. Looking at the caller ID, she raised her brows slightly.
