Chapter 400: Distraction
"What happened?" Ruo Zhi and the others arrived and she asked the disciples who had encountered the man in bear fur.
"I think we found the man we are looking for." One of the disciples said and pointed in the direction where the man in bear fur had run away to.
Ruo Zhi narrowed her eyes, drew out her sword and rose into the air.
After which, she flew in pursuit of the man in bear fur.
The other disciples looked in awe at their senior martial sister, who was at Core Formation Level, which allowed her to make short-range flights.
"Hurry up and follow senior martial sister!" They didn’t stand around for too long and they quickly followed in the path of Ruo Zhi.
Ruo Zhi, who was flying through the tree trunks, unleashed her Spirit Sense to see where the man in bear fur was.
It didn’t take too long for her.
She changed direction and headed towards a rocky area of the mountains.
The man in bear fur was running away in that direction.
And when she finally saw the man’s figure she swung her sword horizontally at the man.
Slice.
The slicing wave from her sword sliced through the rocks and left a trail behind it as it got closer to the man.
However, when the slicing wave was mere inches away, the man’s figure turned into a shimmer and he dodged the slicing wave, appearing at a distance away.
"Damn you!" Ruo Zhi shouted and she descended from the air with her sword’s tip going for the man’s head.
She swooped down at great velocity but she couldn’t land a hit.
The man’s head turned into a shimmer and he dodged her attack again.
The tip of her sword plunged into the rocks on the ground and an explosion ensued.
Boom.
The rocks were blown into pieces and they pelted out into the surroundings.
Ruo Zhi patted the small pieces of rocks that had landed onto her clothes and she cursed at the man, "Fight me like a man."
But the man in bear fur wasn’t bothered with her.
That wasn’t his mission given by the Sima Family.
All he had to do was to let Ruo Zhi and the other disciples from the Six Pulse Sword Sect waste their time in the mountains.
He gave her a smirk, turned around and he continued to run away.
Ruo Zhi took to the air, and chased after him once again.

Meanwhile in Hong Feng City, things were relatively peaceful.
The next few days went smoothly for Lin Xuan Qi.
All of the new factories were operational and the stress of meeting the delivery for Bian Jing was lessened.
With the progress that was going on, Lin Xuan Qi figured that the delivery could be made within the next two weeks.
He finally had a breather from all the activities that had been going on earlier.
After he got back to the mansion every day from work, he spent all his time in cultivation with Lee He Song and Zhi Yong in the lab.
Lee He Song and Zhi Yong were also getting better with their cultivation and he wanted them to be able to ascend to the next stage.
And thankfully, it happened shortly after.
"I made it?" Lee He Song held his hand up and glanced at it.
He had felt the Five-Element Qi in his dantian double and he quickly opened his eyes.
"Congratulations, Master Lee." Lin Xuan Qi cupped his hands at Lee He Song and said.
He was glad that Lee He Song managed to reach Qi Concentration Level Mid Stage at such an opportune time.
Zhi Yong didn’t know what was happening but he also did the same and cupped his hands at Lee He Song.
"I’m afraid that it took all of these that I had." Lee He Song chuckled and raised his other hand with the Five-Element Stone in it and showed it to Lin Xuan Qi.
"Don’t worry, Master Lee. That is not an issue." Lin Xuan Qi took out a few more Five-Element Stones and handed them over to Lee He Song.
He still had around nine hundred over Five-Element Stones and he would get more soon when the wedding was held at the end of next month.
And in the worst case scenario, he could also buy up more properties to get the bonus of fifty Five-Element Stones with each property bought.
But he would want to avoid going for the latter as it would require taking up his budget which he could use for other things as well.
All of these would be a priority in the future and in the meantime, he knew that he had to get the cultivation level of all of them higher as soon as possible.
"Master Lin, me work hard now." Zhi Yong wanted to catch up to Lee He Song and he sat back down in lotus position.
He began to cycle his Five-Element Qi while absorbing more of it from the Five-Element Stone he had in his hands.
Lin Xuan Qi was glad and knew that Zhi Yong would be working the hardest without him asking.
Lee He Song also felt the same and said, "I will help to guide him when you are busy, Master Lin."
"Thanks. That will be great." Lin Xuan Qi thought that it was a great idea.
With him busy with the business and spending time with Xue Cong and the others, it would help a lot if Lee He Song was able to help with it.
Lin Xuan Qi glanced at Lee He Song and asked, "I have something else to teach you in the meantime."
He raised his hands, chanted something and unleashed the Fire Spell, letting his hand be engulfed in flames.
Lee He Song glanced at the flames with wide-opened eyes.
Witnessing something like it was something different for a martial arts fighter.
That was the huge gulf between them and it was impossible to overcome.

Lin Xuan Qi snapped his fingers, made another chant and the flames dissipated, replaced by vines growing out from his fingers.
