Clan Prosperity Starting With My Servant Girls

Chapter 399: Back in the Mountains

Lin Xuan Qi realized that Yue Xin was sensitive to his touch.

Every time he held her hands or touched her, the response from her was many times more than it was from Xue Cong, Yue Jie and Liu Shi Shi.

Right now, with only his hand pressed onto her chest, Yue Xin’s expression and her body squirming was already as if he was doing something more to her.

He smirked and thought about what would happen on the wedding night.

But he had something much more important to do for now.

Lin Xuan Qi started to direct his Five-Element Qi into the heart of Yue Xin.

When Yue Xin felt the Five-Element Qi coming into her, she didn’t know what was happening and she panicked.

Her heart thumped even faster and he had to quickly calm it down with the Five-Element Qi.

As the fire from the heart started forming, Lin Xuan Qi helped her to regulate her heart and he began to move onto the next step when it settled down.

Yue Xin blushed and thought that it was what Xue Cong and Yue Jie did with him every night and she bit her lower lip.

And once he was done with the cultivation cycle of the Daoist Five-Element Cultivation Technique, Lin Xuan Qi retracted his hand from her chest.

Yue Xin glanced at him with her mouth open.

She could sense something different in the surrounding but didn’t know what it was.

Is this what they mean when you become a woman? Yue Xin thought to herself while she tried to sense the Five-Element Qi in the surrounding.

It was like a miracle to her as she felt the ache on her arms had gone away.

"So... Am I a woman now?" Yue Xin finally mustered enough courage and asked.

Lin Xuan Qi rolled his eyes at her and flicked his finger onto her forehead, making her glance at him with grievance.

"Do you feel something different?" He asked and she nodded her head.

"Great, remember what happened just now and use it to practice the following stances to get better."

Lin Xuan Qi said and proceeded to teach her about the breathing techniques with the different stances from the Daoist Five-Element Cultivation Techniques.

She followed and was surprisingly very quick to learn.

Only Liu Shi Shi was slightly ahead of her.

And after they were done, Lin Xuan Qi and Yue Xin headed for dinner at the dinner hall.

Lin Xuan Qi felt a sense of relief now that all of them had started to cultivate with the Daoist Five-Element Cultivation Techniques.

He had done the best he could to ensure that things would get better for the Lin Clan.

...

In the mountains.

Ruo Zhi and her fellow disciples wandered around with the disciples grumbling.

"What are we doing here?"

"It’s cold out here."

"I don’t know, hopefully we can get it done and return to the city soon."

They missed the convenience and comfort the city had to offer.

Being out in the mountains during autumn wasn’t an ideal situation for them.

Ruo Zhi shook her head and asked the disciple next to her, "How long have we been out here?"

"Senior martial sister, we have been here for a day." The disciple bowed at her and replied.

"Only a day?" She replied and cursed at the Governor.

If she returned too early, the Governor might make it an issue saying that she didn’t make full effort to find the assailant of Huo Fei Li.

She thought that it was near impossible to do so after so long.

Whoever it was wouldn’t be so dumb as to stay where he was, waiting for someone to apprehend him.

Rustle.

Suddenly, there was some rustling of the fallen autumn leaves in the distance.

All the disciples drew out their swords in unison.

Then, there was only silence.

Ruo Zhi glanced at a few of the disciples and pointed her chin in the direction of where the rustling came from, gesturing for them to investigate.

They nodded their heads and headed towards the direction.

All of them didn’t think much of it and thought that it might have been some beasts in the mountains.

Since so far, they had not seen any other humans except themselves.

They only wanted to get it over and done with quickly.

"Look over there, and you, check on the other side." The most senior disciple among them started to direct the others to check the surroundings once they got to where the rustling of the leaves came from.

One of them checked on the left side and waved his sword at the others.

"There are some footsteps here." He pointed at the ground and said, "It seems to me that they are footsteps of a bear."

That made it so much simpler for them.

The other three disciples approached him to check on the footsteps and they were eager to get back to Ruo Zhi and the others.

However, when they got near the disciple, a figure came down from above, standing in between the disciple and the three of them.

The man was dressed in brown fur that looked like it was from a bear, with shoes that were made using a bear’s feet.

And most importantly to them, the man had a head of long flowing black hair.

The three disciples brandished their swords at the man in bear fur.

Bright glow emitted from the blades of their swords and three slicing waves shot at the man in bear fur.

Whoosh.

However, when the slicing waves got near the man in bear fur, the man’s figure turned into a brown shimmer.

The man dodged the slicing waves and the slicing waves shot at the other disciple that was standing opposite the three disciples instead.

Dang!

The disciple used his sword and tried to parry the slicing waves away.

But he was only able to parry one of them and the other two sliced through his arm and thigh.

Blood splattered out from the wounds and dripped onto the ground.

"Don’t let him get away."

The three disciples shouted when they saw the man in bear fur getting further away from them.
