Chapter 387: Getting Ready
"Have a seat." Lin Xuan Qi gestured for Lee to take a seat by the side and he did.
Xiu quickly poured a cup of tea for Lee.
"Thanks." Lee said and picked up the tea to have a sip.
After he put down the teacup, Lin Xuan Qi wasted no time and asked, "What is it about the warehouse?"
"Oh, about that. My master is more than willing to sell the warehouse to you." Lee said with a smile and took out a stack of papers.
"Here are the title deeds for the warehouse." He said and showed Lin Xuan Qi the title deed.
Lin Xuan Qi was glad for the news and he said, "I can only offer seventy taels of gold for it."
He tried to offer a lower price to see the response from Lee.
Lin Xuan Qi figured that the Hu Clan was backing off from the Sima Family, due to the struggle between the Qing Feng Sect and the Six Pulse Sword Sect, and he wanted to find out how badly they wanted to do so.
Getting the warehouse cheaper would be a nice bonus if he was successful with it.
Lee’s smile froze and he could see Lee pondering on it.
Lin Xuan Qi rested his back on his seat and waited patiently for Lee’s reply.
He sipped his tea while he glanced out into the distance from his favorite seat in the main hall.
Lee fidgeted, adjusting his seating position while he pondered before he made his decision.
Xue Cong saw what was going on and she stood up and said, "Xuan Qi, dinner is ready, best for you to have the food while it is still warm."
She glanced over at Lee and left with Xiu shortly after, to add more pressure to Lee.
"It’s dinner time already? No wonder, I’m starving." Lin Xuan Qi lamented and pretended to look surprised when he heard what Xue Cong had said.
Lee took a deep breath and finally made his decision.
"Seventy taels of gold is too low for my master to accept. I can make a deal for eighty taels of gold." He said and immediately felt the regret when he saw Lin Xuan Qi with a huge smile on his face.
Lin Xuan Qi cupped his hands at Lee and said, "Thanks for the deal."
He had saved ten taels of gold from it, and he could make better use of the ten taels of gold for other things, like buying materials for talismans.
Lee couldn’t do much but nodded his head and handed the title deed over to Lin Xuan Qi.
He took out the seal of the Hu Clan, ready to sign the documents and said, "My men will clear the warehouse by tonight and I will handle the rest of the process with the magistrate’s office."
Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head, and they proceeded to imprint their seal and thumbprint onto the documents.
The payment for the eighty taels of gold was made on the spot and it was a done deal.
A familiar sound erupted in his mind and words appeared in it when he received the title deed from Lee.

"Master Hu hopes that you would let the Sima Family know of our deal." Lee gave a last glance at the mansion and said.
"I will." Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head and gestured for the guards to accompany Lee out of the mansion.
Lee He Song chuckled and said, "Seems like we benefited from what’s going on."
Lin Xuan Qi shrugged and said, "And there might be a price to be paid for it later on."
It was most likely the calm before the storm and he knew that he had to be prepared for it.
"Master Lee, how is your progress so far?" He glanced at Lee He Song and asked.
Right now, he only had Lee He Song and Zhi Yong as cultivators that he could use to help fend off enemies attacking the Clan.
And he wanted to find out what their progress was.
He didn’t expect Xue Cong and Yue Jie to be able to fight even though they were cultivating.
Out of the four of them, maybe Liu Shi Shi would be able to help when she started cultivating.
Lee He Song chuckled and said, "I’m ready for whatever is coming."
He held his sword up and directed his Five-Element Qi to it.
Flames erupted from within the scabbard and dissipated instantly.
Lin Xuan Qi could sense that he was at the edge of the Qi Concentration Level Initial Stage, on the cusp of ascending to the next stage.
He nodded his head at Lee He Song and said, "I think we have a lot of work to do for tonight."
"Always at your service, Master Lin." Lee He Song chuckled and had a swig of wine from his new wine gourd.

After dinner, he summoned Zhi Yong and Lee He Song into the lab and got to work.
First he checked on Zhi Yong’s progress.
"Master Lin, me work hard every day." Zhi Yong said and took out the now depleted Five-Element Stone he had.
Lin Xuan Qi was happy to see it and said, "Direct your Five-Element Qi to your fist and let me see how much you’ve improved."
Zhi Yong nodded his head and did accordingly.
When he started to do so, the muscles on Zhi Yong expanded and Lin Xuan Qi could sense the strength he had in his body.
Lin Xuan Qi figured that Zhi Yong was also on the cusp of ascending to the next stage of the Qi Concentration Level.
After he was done checking on the progress of Zhi Yong, he used the new supplies of Spirit Herbs from Lu Ting to conjure more of the Five-Element Qi Concentration Pills for them.
It helped with their cultivation with the Five-Element Stones and it was a priority for them to ascend to the next stage.
And after a long night of working hard on the pills, he was able to conjure a total of fifty Five-Element Qi Concentration Pills this time.
He was getting much more skilled at it and the success rate was much higher than it was.
