A blue glow engulfed the compound of the mansion and dissipated as quickly as it appeared.
The guards rubbed their eyes and shook their heads when they saw it, thinking that they were seeing things.
All of them quickly went on high alert and went around the mansion to see if everything was alright.

"Nothing. I was trying out some experiments that is something like a silent firework.
"The flash that the firework gave out might have been too bright." Lin Xuan Qi shrugged and said.
"Really?" Liu Shi Shi frowned and glanced at him.
She wasn’t too surprised by the so-called silent firework, as he had always been able to come up with new and strange inventions.
Liu Shi Shi was more concerned about him.
He was covered in sweat and on his clothes were some marks from the furnace when he was conjuring the pills.
She frowned and gave out a sigh.
Lin Xuan Qi was still hard at work when it was so late into the night, she thought silently to herself.
She wished that she could help him but all that she knew was martial arts.
"Then, rest early for the night." She said to him and proceeded to go away to tell her guards to stand down.
