Clan Prosperity Starting With My Servant Girls

Chapter 385: Petty Sima Ye

Lin Xuan Qi and Lee He Song left the factory and they went over to the warehouse that was owned by Hu Fei.

Both of them sat in a food stall nearby, ordered some food and ate.

They glanced over at the warehouse intermittently while doing so to see if there was anything unusual happening.

Sima Ye must have something up his sleeve, Lin Xuan Qi thought while he slurped the noodles he had.

It didn’t take long for the wait.

"Master Lin, look." Lee He Song glanced over at the entrance of the warehouse and said.

Lin Xuan Qi lifted his head and there they were.

Men dressed in shirts with the ’Sima’ emblem on the left side of their chest.

They didn’t say much and they started to have a brawl with the men from the Hu Clan.

"What are you doing?!"

"Stop it!"

"The Hu Clan would not let you off easily!"

The men from Hu Clan shouted and tried to fend off the men from the Sima Family.

"The Hu Clan started it!"

"This is revenge for what the Hu Clan did to our brothers!"

"You had it coming the moment you dared to start a fight with the Sima Family."

Men from the Sima Family shouted back and raged on.

They weren’t cultivators and were only martial arts fighters, so the damage wasn’t serious on both sides.

Punches rained upon each other and kicks smashed into flesh and bones.

However, it ended as abruptly as it had started.

The men from the Sima Family retreated all of a sudden, leaving the men from Hu Clan bewildered while they groaned in pain from their injuries.

"Go and let Master Hu know what happened. We must teach the Sima Family a lesson." One of the men from Hu Clan said and his subordinates bowed at him and staggered in the direction of where the Hu Clan Mansion was.

Lin Xuan Qi frowned and thought about what had happened.

Sima Ye must have had his purpose for initiating this brawl but he couldn’t pinpoint exactly why.

All he knew was that Sima Ye was most likely doing it for him since Sima Ye knew that he needed the warehouse as the site for his new factory.

It was his luck to be able to get to know Sima Long and work with the Sima Family and he appreciated the help he got.

Lin Xuan Qi promised himself that once the Lin Clan was able to stand on its own, he would repay their help in every way he could.

If Sima Long ever asked to become a cultivator, he would be more than willing to let him know about the Daoist Five-Element Cultivation Techniques.

Lin Xuan Qi gave out a sigh, shook his head and said to Lee He Song, "Master Lee, I think we should get back to the mansion.

"There’s no point for us to try and see Master Hu now."

Lee He Song nodded his head and chuckled, "Just in time for lunch, I guess."

Lin Xuan Qi gave him a smile and said, "I think there would be much better news for us when we get back than only lunch."

They got up from their seats in the food stall and headed back towards the factories for the horse carriage.

...

Hu Clan Mansion.

"They what?!" Hu Fei slammed his fist onto the table and shouted.

The man that was kneeling in front of him nodded his head and gave out a few coughs.

"Yes, Master Hu. The men from the Sima Family came out of nowhere and beat us up." He said and rolled up his sleeves to show the wounds he had on his arm.

His arm was bruised in patches of purple and red.

Hu Fei fumed with his chest rising high up and lowering rapidly.

He glanced over at Lee and shouted, "I thought I told you to withdraw from all the competition we were in with the Sima Family?"

Lee, who was standing beside Hu Fei, quickly came close to him and said, "I’ve instructed all my men to do so..."

He wiped the sweat off his forehead and bowed deep to Hu Fei.

"No, you must have missed out on something.

"The Sima Family wouldn’t be doing this without any reason." Hu Fei said and took a mouthful of the tea he had on the table to simmer down his anger.

"But I’m sure that we’ve..." Lee tried to explain but stopped when one of his men stepped forward.

His man knew what it was that he had at the back of his mind back then when Lee asked them to withdraw from all the competition with the Sima Family.

He had better let Hu Fei know before he got into deeper trouble.

"Master Hu Fei, I think I know their intention..." The man knelt and trembled as he said.

Hu Fei snorted and said, "Just tell me! I don’t have all day."

The man lowered his head onto the ground and said, "There was someone from the Lin Clan who wanted to purchase the warehouse from us and I asked him to go away seeing that he was affiliated with the Sima Family."

Hu Fei cursed at the man and said, "You better see to it that the Sima Family gets off my back."

The warehouse wasn’t strategic to the Hu Clan and he wanted to lie low for now before the real battle between the Qing Feng Sect and Six Pulse Sword Sect started.

Right now it was the proxies of the Sima Family and low ranking cultivators like Ruo Zhi pulling the strings.

But he knew better that it would escalate very soon.

Having lived for so many years, he had what it took to guide the Hu Clan to survive for the long term.

"Yes, Master Hu. I shall see to it immediately."

Crack.

The teacup in Hu Fei’s hand cracked into pieces when he thought about how petty the Sima Family was to be coming after him for a warehouse.

He couldn’t recall any Lin Clan in Hong Feng City that he knew of, but he made it a point to take note of it, since the Sima Family looked upon the Lin Clan with such importance.
