Clan Prosperity Starting With My Servant Girls

Chapter 382: Sima Ye’s Decision

The retail shop workers knew what might be triggered by them, if they fought with the burly men that were wearing the shirts from Hu Clan, so they hesitated.

But the burly men gave them not much of a choice.

The burly man that was closest to the retail shop workers gave a frontal kick at the retail shop worker he was arguing with.

Thud.

The kick landed onto the retail shop worker’s chest and sent the retail shop worker tumbling across the ground.

"How dare you!" All the other retail shop workers came rushing in and tried to throw punches or kicks at the burly man.

They were stopped by the other burly men from Hu Clan.

A brawl ensued with the burly men overpowering the retail shop workers.

All of the retail shop workers suffered with punches raining down onto them and kicks onto their abdomen when they were on the ground.

Crack.

After the burly men were done with the retail shop workers, they stormed into the retail shop and threw the wares onto the ground, smashing them into pieces.

The retail shop was made into a mess within a few moments.

Racks were broken, and the pieces of the wares were strewn all over on the ground.

"Serve them right." The burly man spat on the ground and waved his hands.

All of the men followed him and they exited the retail shop.

They headed towards the direction of the Hu Clan mansion and as they ran past Lee Qing, they gave her a silent nod.

...

Hu Clan.

Inside the luxurious main hall with tiger skin hung on the walls, Hu Fei sat in his seat with his hands gripping tight on the armrests.

A man knelt in front of him and lowered his head with his body trembling.

"Master Hu, that is what I’ve heard so far.

"I’m sure that those men weren’t from our clan.

"Someone is trying to frame us." The man said and lowered his head further.

Hu Fei snarled and stared at him, "What are you waiting for?

"I don’t need you to tell me that.

"Go figure out who that ’someone’ is instead of telling me something that’s so obvious."

He fumed and leaned back onto his seat.

"Yes, Master Hu. I will get it done right away." The man said and he quickly scurried out from the main hall.

Hu Fei gave out a sigh and he rubbed his temple with his fingers.

Things wouldn’t be calm and peaceful for him going forward. He thought to himself silently.

Everyone knew that he didn’t like the Sima Family and whoever it was had made use of this fact to try and get him into trouble with the Sima Family.

But he wasn’t dumb enough to do so in such a blatant manner.

And the Hu Clan wasn’t powerful enough to take on the Sima Family yet.

Whoever it was that did it had put him in a rather sticky situation.

He picked up his teacup and had a sip of it.

All that he could wish for was for the Sima Family to be smart enough to see through the dirty trick of the person trying to frame him.

"Lee, I need you to go to the Sima Family for me.

"Tell them that those men weren’t from the Hu Clan." Hu Fei glanced over at his assistant and said.

Lee bowed at him and said, "I will let the Sima Family know, Master Hu."

Hu Fei nodded at him and said, "Bring some gifts with you."

"Yes, Master Hu."

Hu Fei shook his head and had another sip of his tea while he glanced at the figure of Lee getting further away as Lee left the main hall.

It might be a harsh and cold winter coming, he thought.

...

Sima Family Mansion.

Sima Ye was in the guest room sitting in his seat with Lee standing opposite him.

He nodded his head while Lee told him what had happened.

"Master Sima Ye, I assure you that those men weren’t from the Hu Clan.

"I’m sure that you can see through such a simple ploy."

Lee said and cupped his hands at Sima Ye.

Sima Ye stood up with his hands behind his back and he paced around the guest room.

He knew that the men weren’t from the Hu Clan but it wasn’t beneficial to him in the slightest if he said so.

If he told Lee that he knew that the men weren’t from the Hu Clan, Lee could just go back to Hu Fei and that would be the end of it.

There was nothing to be gained if he took this position.

Sima Ye wasn’t about to give up such an opportunity to exact something out of Hu Fei.

There were more options for him if he took the other position of believing that the men were from the Hu Clan.

He could ask for compensation or kick up a fuss and cause troubles for Hu Fei.

Which was an opportunity he wouldn’t want to give up on.

Ruo Zhi and Lee Qing’s seemingly simple plan was cunning in its own devious way and Sima Ye thought that he had to change his view on them from now on.

They had taken into consideration the relationship between the Sima Family and the Hu Clan.

And he was willing to go with their script for now.

Sima Ye stopped pacing around and he stared at Lee.

He pointed his finger at Lee and said, "I don’t think so. Master Hu has every reason to cause troubles for the Sima Family.

"Ever since he lost the contract to supply the Artifacts to the imperial palace, he has been trying to create havoc on us at every opportunity he got."

Lee quickly bowed at Sima Ye and said, "Master Sima Ye, it’s so obvious that someone else is doing so...

"I really advise you to think through it carefully."

After he said so, Lee felt an aura coming down onto him and he had to sit back down onto the chair.

Sima Ye’s stare made his chest tight and he could hardly breathe.
