Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 502: Finality spoke again

With the supply and demand being met, more and more houses and buildings rose. From corners of the Nexus Domain, several people were going live, talking about the world, the simulation tower, and more.

Right now, the Nexus Domain was the absolute center of attention in the Human Alliance, but it didn’t take long for its existence to spread into other alliances, even reaching the ears of the Crystal Zerg race.

"This world... what is it like?" A man sat on a dark throne upon a pitch-black planet.

"Lord, this planet was created by someone who recently ascended to godhood. However, his strength is incredibly vast; he destroyed the Immortal Sovereign Palace just the other day."

"Hm. Shall we wait for the Abyssal Dukes to arrive?"

"Yes. We will destroy this Saint then."

---

Whoosh!

Grey’s figure tore through the skies of the Nexus Domain as he entered the central tower. Inside, his parents, his sister, Alissa, her parents, Lia, Little Hong and Valeria were conversing.

"I am back," Grey greeted his parents.

"You kid." Angela stared at Alissa, Lia, and Valeria, and then back at Grey with utter speechlessness.

Her son wasn’t very popular with girls in his previous world, but the same could not be said for him in this one. He was always the center of attention.

And most importantly, he had a daughter!

Angela was sitting next to Little Hong, looking at her lovingly, Little Hong just sat there silently, nodding and replying to all Angela’s questions.

"Perfect timing. Since everyone is here, I wanted to say something important," Grey spoke softly.

"Should we leave?" Wang Lin and Melissa inquired.

Since everyone else here was family, they probably had something private to discuss.

"No. You do not need to leave," Grey said in a slightly serious tone. "This concerns the endless reality and my past."

"Do you mean..." Angela looked at Wang Lin and Melissa and sighed. "Actually, I do believe Wang Lin here has the right to know about it."

"I also agree," Anderson added. "Since we will become family in the future, there is nothing to hide here."

"..." Alissa looked at Anderson with a stunned expression when she heard this.

"I am not marrying this guy," Alissa said indifferently. However, a deep shade of crimson had already formed on her face.

Everyone chuckled softly hearing this, especially Melissa.

But soon, everyone seated themselves and began talking. They started from the very beginning, and Grey began explaining everything to the others.

"I had my doubts," Wang Lin said with a heavy sigh. "When I first awakened my memories, the first thing that came to my mind was you, Grey. The way you acted and suddenly got stronger, even more so than a literal True Dragon, made me believe that you were some reincarnated old monster. But this..."

Wang Lin was shocked. Grey was not some ancient monster as he had initially thought. No! He was just an ordinary civilian from a place with zero spiritual energy.

Melissa, on the other hand, was looking at Alissa with an even bigger smile, slightly nudging her daughter who sat there like a block of ice, clearly annoyed by her mother’s reaction to this piece of information.

"And that is where what I am about to say comes in." Grey glanced at Angela and Anderson, who both looked at him in confusion.

Then, Grey began to speak about the paragons and the Core that created reality, and the fact that it was located precisely in their old universe.

"A Core that created the endless reality?" Melissa was stunned hearing this. "Actually, I know something about this."

The instant she said that, everyone turned their attention toward her.

"It came to me in a dream," Melissa said with a highly serious nod.

"..." Everyone immediately turned speechless after hearing this, while Alissa facepalmed.

Why was her mother like this? Who even believed in dreams anyway?

"In a dream? Please do tell. Being a True Source Being, your dreams must be directly related to the Origin," Grey spoke. "A True Dragon is also a being created by the boundless expression that created the gods. Isn’t that right, Lia?"

Lia nodded. "Yes, that is correct."

"I couldn’t catch much of it, but a light appeared in my dream one day and told me about a Core. The light told me to find it, and if I did... I would get something like the Ascendancy Valor of a Paramount?"

"..." Grey and Lia blinked at the exact same time.

This heavily exceeded their expectations.

"The light that spoke to you was probably the boundless expression that created the True Dragons."

"Yeah. I think so too," Lia added.

"But what is Ascendancy Valor?" Melissa tilted her head and asked. "How come I have never heard of it before?"

"It is a prominent power in the Ascendancy Domain. All True Dragons and gods have it. Others can obtain it too, but getting it is incredibly hard."

"But just one index of Ascendancy Valor can make you incredibly strong. Even if you are a being that has transcended the concept of space and time, you will still be effortlessly crushed by someone who has just one index of it."

"As for the Paramount level of Ascendancy Valor... I do not know, honestly. It is probably in the millions or billions," Grey said.

However, just then, a mysterious voice echoed directly into his mind.

"It is over a million."

"It is you, Finality," Grey said in surprise. "Why did you suddenly speak up? You haven’t said a word since I entered the summit of Nexus to anchor myself."

"I didn’t feel like it," Finality said. "Also, the information layer... it is called the Quantum Realm in the Ascendancy Domain."

"Is that so?" Grey was genuinely surprised. "Why are you saying this now and not when we were discussing it with the gods?"

"I didn’t want the gods to feel my presence. You might not know this, but those gods excluding the God Empress are actively being monitored by the very thing that created them. I do not want it finding me through them."

"That woman that dreamt of the light is also the same. But your nexus energy is a impenetrable barrier stopping its snooping. So it’s fine in here."

"The people in the Ascendancy Domain always try to steal my powers and use them for bad things. I do not like it."

"But you... you are good," Finality added. "You can use my power as much as you want."

"Is it because I own the Nexus energy?" Grey inquired curiously.

"I do not know. Maybe," Finality replied lazily.
