Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 503: Entering the Creator Space, The Esper Author’s Lecture

"Grey... are you there?" Right now, everyone was looking at him with concern.

His Crown of Finality had suddenly manifested out of nowhere, and he had been staring blankly at the wall ever since.

"I was conversing with Finality," Grey spoke softly.

"Speaking of Finality," Melissa suddenly jumped. "The light also tasked me with finding Finality and taking its crown. It said it would give me a Paramount Ascendancy Valor for finding it as well. Ah..."

Melissa stopped midway as she stared at Grey’s crown.

"That crown... Little Grey. Is that the Crown of Finality?"

Everyone was equally stunned.

Grey smiled wryly at her reaction.

"Indeed. This is the Crown of Finality," Grey revealed. He had never openly revealed anything about the Crown of Finality, nor did the majority know about it.

"It really is." Melissa was stunned, completely tongue-tied.

Alissa observed Grey’s halo silently. It looked really good on him. It elevated his presence by a notch.

Of course, she wasn’t going to say that out loud; that would be too embarrassing.

Then, a new thought rose in her mind.

’Is this your source of power, Grey?’ Alissa eyed him closely. Her soft lips opened and closed.

As a True Dragon, she couldn’t match Grey. She couldn’t pinpoint exactly why, but it seemed like it was related to this.

"Anyways, let’s get back on topic," Grey said.

"I want you all to be cautious, Julie, Dad, Mom," Grey spoke in a serious tone. "We are the pieces that the paragons need to get to the fragmented Core."

"If we allow that, then the Core will get stolen, and I do not know what that will entail for the endless reality."

More importantly, he didn’t want the paragons to get it in the first place. The Core belonged to him.

"That Core," Finality suddenly spoke up. "Even if others get their hands on it, they will never reach the truth of it."

"It needs the Nexus energy to work," it added. "You are the only being that can use it. The fact that you can use it means no one else in this world can, aside from you. Even if you handed them the blueprint for it, it wouldn’t work. Unless someone finds a loophole or kills you."

"Is that so?" Grey was stunned.

This piece of information was very crucial. Initially, he was against spreading the Nexus energy because of the Heavenly Dao, and also because he wanted the superior energy for himself. But to think that even if he did spread it, it wouldn’t work for anyone else.

"Shouldn’t we inform your grandfather about this?" Angela and Anderson asked in worry.

"He will be fine," Grey replied. "Still, it is strange. He actually managed to reincarnate into our world as someone from the outside. He is no ordinary figure."

"For now, what matters is staying safe."

With that, he changed the subject.

"Also, we need to arrange a place for the gods to stay."

"Gods?" Angela and Anderson were bewildered.

"Yes, the people that came back with me in the spaceship are gods," Grey replied with a small smile.

"What?!" Everyone jumped in equal disbelief, except Valeria and Alissa.

"Oh right. I forgot to introduce you." Grey gestured towards Lia and spoke. "This is my girlfriend, who is also the ruler of the God World."

"..." For a split second, the entire room fell silent.

"Umm... nice to meet you." Lia looked at Angela and Anderson and gave a small bow with a look of embarrassment.

She was formally being introduced to Grey’s parents; she naturally had to put up her best performance!

But on the other hand, she doubted that his parents would deny their future marriage. They both had Little Hong, after all.

"Please d-don’t bow, Miss Lia. You are a god," Angela spoke hurriedly, almost too scared to even speak.

But this reaction was normal. The ruler of the God World was her son’s girlfriend? This vastly exceeded her expectations.

Every parent wanted a good daughter-in-law, but this exceeded all expectations.

"Haa... a man of your caliber. Your father is proud, Grey." Anderson patted Grey’s shoulder with deep emotion.

Soon, Grey left the room. Angela pulled Valeria, Lia, and Little Hong to her personal quarters in the tower, wanting to spend more time with the girls to get to know them better. They were both her future daughters-in-law, after all. Julie also tagged along.

Now only Alissa was left.

She stared at the empty room in silence before awkwardly leaving.

"It is time to enter the Creator Space and start up the 6th rank process," Grey mused.

With things having become more known, he couldn’t stay weak. It was time for the creation of the 6th rank.

But before that, he wanted to enter the space to meet the other fellow authors.

Whoosh!

The normal way to enter the Creator Space was through a virtual machine, but Grey could simply transfer his consciousness directly to the data node.

It was essentially the same.

His vision blurred as he arrived in the space. It was a sprawling location. There were a lot of research centers here with different names: "Frequency Martial Arts Research", "Fire Meridian Explosion Path Research", "Runic Evolutionary Path Research", and much more.

A lot of people went in and out of these research centers. It wasn’t just higher-level citizens who could access this realm; it could be accessed by the higher-ranking citizens’ assistants too.

Grey could bring others in as well, but it wasn’t necessary. Unlike others who relied on a lot of people, he acted alone.

Just then, he saw a system screen open up in front of him.

[The Esper author is conducting a small lecture class on the Aetheric Evolutionary Path. Would you like to join?]

Everyone around him immediately stirred.

"The author of the Esper path has finally finished studying the path?" The other scholars were all excited.

This path was the talk of the Creator Space, and everyone wanted a piece of it. Now that the Esper path author had opened a live lecture, it meant he had finished studying it.

Everyone eagerly clicked on the join option as their figures teleported away.

"The Esper author, huh?" Grey smiled. "Let’s see what you’ve got."

He was interested in this Esper author and what he thought of his path. He also clicked join immediately.
