Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 501: Meeting the Supply and Demand

The spaceship soon reached the Nexus Domain. However, by now, it was even more bustling than before. From a distance, Grey could see literal space traffic due to the sheer amount of spaceships pouring into the Nexus Domain. Around the area, the Human Alliance’s space police were calmly directing the flow of vessels.

"Grey, are you sure that this is your planet?" Lia couldn’t help but become bewildered.

This was too big, and most importantly, why were there so many people coming here?

It had to be mentioned that Grey had only left for a week and a half. Before that, he was just a 4th ranker from the Blue Star. Now, a week later, he had a sprawling, hyper-advanced planet?

It was vast enough to comfortably hold trillions.

"The results went far beyond my expectations." Grey was dumbfounded himself.

How did the population increase by this much in such a short amount of time? At this rate, wouldn’t they run out of building materials for everyone?

He would have to go to a nearby planet and convert it entirely into metal.

Because just from the outside, the once barren planet looked completely filled to the brim.

The Dragon Monarch shot into the Nexus Domain. There were plenty of alliance law enforcers using light beacons to manage the high traffic of spaceships. Around the huge central tower he lived in, towering buildings, sprawling houses, and massive corporate headquarters had already risen.

Up in the sky, there were people. Down on the ground, there were also people.

His mind interface refreshed with the latest data.

[Current Population: 103B]

"Holy crap." Grey was shook.

As soon as the Dragon Monarch spaceship landed, he went straight to meet Eterna, who was currently automating everything on the planet.

"You’re back," Eterna greeted him. "By the time you left, more and more people kept coming. In the end, the Yellow Ancestor, noticing the huge commotion, dispatched the Alliance law enforcement to keep everything in check. There was so much congestion in space that some ships collided and directly blew up."

"Your evolutionary path and your title as a Saint are not a joke," Eterna added as she gazed at Grey.

The man and his world were both extremely prominent now.

"You don’t need to tell me that." Grey chuckled wryly. Then Eterna briefed him about the current situation.

Top cosmic companies, ancient families, and massive businesses had already established their main branches here. Of course, for them to do that, they naturally had to pay taxes. Grey had set a flat rate of 10% for everyone.

And now, there were at least more than a hundred billion houses built here.

"If we count the robots and mechas produced from the mecha forge, then that’s double the amount of the organic population," Eterna spoke.

"How did you deal with the metal shortage?"

"We had to buy from other cosmic companies; they were more than willing to sell it. But it is not enough. We are also missing other important, highly complex parts as well."

Grey fell into deep thought after hearing this.

But he already had a perfect solution to it. For that, he just needed an 8th ranker’s help.

But before he did that, he needed to do something much more important.

"Automate the reality-bending Divine Decree."

It was a far-fetched thought. However, Grey had already converted the decree’s power into raw data before, meaning it was entirely possible to transfer that function to other entities or objects.

"Like a central core robot." Grey started to make preparations.

But before he left, he gave Eterna back the pocket server fragments that safely contained her full consciousness.

Then, Kaelith and he went off into deep space looking for asteroid belts. With Kaelith’s divine help, those massive asteroids were turned into 8-star ores and complex circuits. Using cognitive manipulation, Grey could make Kaelith perfectly remember and execute even the most complex mechanical blueprints in the universe.

Hence, Kaelith helped with the mass creation of the highest-grade ore and necessary components. Grey rapidly made changes to his blueprint, refining it heavily before he finally came up with the design for an orb.

This orb would be placed at the very core of the planet. It would be the automated, sentient AI that would endlessly automate the reality-bending function.

And considering its power, due to being crafted from pure 8-star ore, it could process reality bending at a terrifyingly high level.

He began to forge it slowly as he fed it the intricate data related to the reality-bending Divine Decree. Of course, he needed Kaelith’s and the Beast of Finality’s help to forge it. An 8-star ore was no joke; he doubted there was naturally any in the universe to begin with.

But such was the raw power of a god.

Soon, an orb that was pitch black was successfully formed. It contained the complete, absolute power to bend reality.

Grey then began configuring a complex yet highly versatile supply and demand algorithm. This would be what the core would use to automate the reality-bending process to create more specific items based on the planet’s needs.

He then downloaded a massive catalog of metals, technological parts, utility components, and more, uploading the entire database directly into the core. He did the exact same thing with Kaelith to ensure synchronization.

"Now for the next part." His idea was to form several spatial cracks around the core of the planet. These cracks would lead directly to several asteroid-dense regions across the cosmos, which the core would then use reality bending to convert into whatever was needed.

Everything here cost money to make, so keeping the raw metals sourced by themselves would be a huge financial win. Otherwise, with the Nexus Domain’s exploding popularity, they would eventually go broke even with a 10% tax from everyone.

Soon, Kaelith and Grey went deep into the planet’s core. They carefully placed the orb in its housing. Then, with a casual wave of Kaelith’s hand, several vast pathways leading directly to the surface were formed.

He made almost 100,000 of them. These would act as the primary metal deposit areas for the surface.

Then, Kaelith swept his massive divine sense outward and soon pinpointed several asteroid-rich regions across the area. These supplies could easily last for countless years.

Without hesitation, he formed stable spatial cracks that connected directly to the other sides. Then, Grey moved. He created small energy barriers around the spatial cracks, granting the orb absolute permission to open or close them at any time. When opened, countless asteroids would rush in, and the orb could immediately begin its process of conversion.

Speaking of which, Grey decided to create specialized builder robots that would get construction jobs done even more efficiently than before. He also established many more mecha forges across the planet.

Then, he placed down several spatial wrappers and linked their coordinates directly to the mecha forges.

Now, the newly created materials would be teleported directly to the mecha forges instantaneously. But he made sure to set a strict algorithmic rule: if the demand is two, then make four. Send two directly into the 100,000 material deposits they had just created, and send the rest to massive underground storage deposits. Kaelith had already made use of spatial powers to ensure these storage areas could hold countless materials and still never run out of space.

It was an incredibly smooth and efficient logistical system.

With all of that done, he finally initiated the orb. He decided to simply name it the Reality-Bending Orb.

The orb immediately began its work. It was directly connected to the local information layer of the Nexus Domain, so it could easily see and process data that wasn’t even recorded on the standard internet yet.

Massive asteroids poured out from the spatial cracks and were immediately transformed into powerful 4th or 5th rank metals. They then shot into the warp gates in rapid succession. In less than a single second, more than a thousand asteroids were converted and seamlessly distributed to the mecha forges and material deposits.
