Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 484: Let me do some custom modifications

"The very first human to ever enter the Information Layer." Julie looked at Grey in a new light.

For the past few days, her brother had been repeatedly shocking her without giving her a single chance to recover. Now, she could converse with anyone, and if some arrogant noble dared to boast about their own sibling, she could just drop Grey’s name to instantly shut them down.

"Does that mean... I can continue with my life?" Miwa asked with lingering uncertainty.

"Yes, if that is what you want," Grey said with a smile. "Besides, I doubt Alissa and Julie will let anything happen to you."

"Yes." Miwa looked over at Eterna, who was staring right back at her, and gave a firm nod.

"But what if Tian Yuan comes back?" Miwa asked, her expression growing anxious just as quickly.

"If he comes back, then we just have to beat him up again,"

After discussing a few more details, Grey returned to the Dragon World. He told the others to meet him there once everything was settled on their end.

He wanted a quiet place to test his current powers out. He remembered the exact words the Yellow Ancestor had shared regarding the cosmic measurements of 1S, 1D, and 1A.

"So is this the device used for checking combat power?" Grey asked.

With him were Xia Qingyue, Eve, Eterna, and Julie. Julie had insisted on tagging along.

"Yeah. I remember seeing one in Mom and Dad’s secret realm," Julie nodded, observing a massive metallic box inside the Dragon Palace’s training area.

The box was the size of a small villa back on the Blue Star, but the interior space could be stretched infinitely based on the user’s needs.

"Let us go test it out." Grey’s figure flickered, and the group materialized inside the box.

In the center sat a sophisticated mechanical chair. Grey took a seat. Soon, a metallic cable that seemed almost alive descended from the ceiling and connected to his spine. At that exact moment, he made sure to trigger his Nexus Overclock.

Bzzt!

Soon, statistics materialized in his vision.

[Strength: 1S]

[Speed: 1A]

[Defense: 1D]

Grey then tested it without the overclock active.

The result was zero. This was a 6th Rank machine, meaning its baseline measurement started at zero for anything below that threshold.

"Well. Nexus Overclock is my baseline strength either way," Grey shrugged.

However, the others were gawking at his results.

"As expected..." Eve mumbled, staring at the holographic display.

The foundational evolutionary path Grey uploaded was already terrifying, yet here the creator sat, casually exhibiting peak 6th Rank physical metrics.

He possessed the physical strength to crush a star region containing thousands of suns, a speed that could cross the void from one galaxy to another in five minutes, and a defense capable of withstanding a star region collapsing into a single point.

This was a vessel optimized for perfection in every aspect.

"I want to change to your path too," Julie suddenly announced.

She had already realized her brother did not follow any traditional routes. Instead, he forged his own laws to reach this level of power. In theory, creating a new path should be infinitely harder than following an established one, but he still managed to do it in a ridiculously short amount of time.

"Sure. If you want to. I do not want my kid sister following weak paths either."

"Are you calling the immortal cultivation variation left behind by our grandfather weak?" Julie tilted her head.

"You saw the test results yourself, did you not?" Eve chimed in. "The second stage of his 5th Rank can go toe-to-toe with your grandfather’s variation of the 7th Rank."

"Really?" Julie’s doll-like eyes went wide.

"Regrettably, yes," Grey sighed playfully. "What can I say? I am an overachiever."

"..." The girls in the room stared at him with deadpan expressions.

"Well, whatever. My 5th Rank does not necessarily need an evolution stone to convert. Come here, let me scan you."

Since Julie was his blood sister, he was going to give her special treatment. He planned on giving her some of the powers he wielded as a mortal, along with his conceptual frequencies. He considered giving her the Cloning Frequency and the Elixir Field Dimension Frequency. He originally intended to use the dimension frequency for his own 5th Rank, but decided against it due to his cells and helices. Thinking about it now, he could still theoretically use it to give birth to actual planets inside his cosmic meridians, but it would just get in the way of the helix structures.

He would think about that later after entering the Creator’s Space and running some simulations.

For now, he decided to grant her his genetic Dharma Weapon ability so she could forge something like his Origin Breaker. He would also pass down the Origin Line Frequency and the Frequency of Finality. A single use of the Frequency of Finality forced anything it touched straight into its ultimate conclusion. His Crown of Finality currently amplified those specific effects. As for the Law of Finality, he was passively gaining comprehension over it every second, likely due to wearing the crown itself.

He called his sister closer and looked her up and down.

"Do you want to become a True Dragon?"

"Huh?" Everyone turned dumbfounded at the sudden, out-of-place question.

"A True Dragon... like Alissa?" Julie blinked speechlessly.

"Yes," Grey nodded.

"How do I become one?"

"I can arrange something," Grey said with a small smile. "Let me do some custom modifications."

He scanned Julie’s biological data and uploaded it directly into his personal server.

"Do you want the Flames of Entropy from the Abyss as well?"

"Damn bastard, what the hell are you doing? Are you giving her a custom modification?" Eve was completely stunned.

A True Dragon bloodline, and now the Flames of Entropy? She could not tell if this guy was boasting, trolling, or being genuinely serious.

"I want it," Julie nodded eagerly.

Grey nodded with satisfaction and ruffled his sister’s hair. This was his true blood sister. He knew her very well. She was just like him. She held a deep desire for power and would not hesitate to say yes to such a monumental upgrade.

"Endless potential... that might be a bit too much to cram in," Grey clicked his tongue in thought. Instead, he decided to give her the Immortal Sovereign Physique.

He also tossed in the Heavenly Tribulation Spark he acquired from his previous law-reshaping session before merging with the Lesser Heaven, just because he could. Finally, he decided to weave in the Primordial Human bloodline.

Data energy erupted from his core. He began to manipulate the source code within the Information Layer. Everyone stood frozen in place as they watched the spectacle.

The things he just spoke of were too far-fetched to believe, but he had already begun the process.

Inside his server’s repository rested the saved data containing his past powers. He pulled them out one by one and began to seamlessly merge that former biological data directly into Julie’s genetic code. His Mecha Race processing capabilities made it impossible to fail.

One by one, all the supreme traits were perfectly encoded into her soul.

With the procedure complete, he swiftly turned to Julie. "Let us go outside."

As he spoke, space warped around them, and the group teleported outside the testing facility.
