"Chris has the ability, but he has a big problem,"

Brian gently lifted his head and asked, "What problem?"

"Chris once said to me, ’Just treat the person you want to deceive as an idiot,’ that’s his attitude, and his psychological state when deceiving others. Such a mindset might work when dealing with ordinary people; after all, if the deception is exposed while facing them, what’s the worst that can happen? At most, they’ll be called a damn swindler. After pondering for a moment, Brian nodded and said, "Yes, such a mindset could get people killed."

Yang Yi sighed lightly and said, "When ordinary people encounter a swindler, or discover they’ve fallen for a scam, at most they report it to the police. But who are we dealing with? If Chris is exposed, people will die. What I fear the most isn’t him being beaten to death by someone but the enemy setting a trap without exposing him. In such a case, how do we determine whether Chris has been compromised?"

Zhang Yong nodded as well and said, "That makes sense, that makes sense. Chris is like a double-edged sword; if used well, indeed he can be extremely sharp and make a big difference. But just one oversight could lead to endangering us all."

Yang Yi said in a grave tone, "That’s why I don’t plan to bring Chris along. Until his mindset changes, we can’t let him handle anything too important."

Zhang Yong expressed regret, "Chris is talented; it would be a shame to give up on using him like that."

Yang Yi shook his head, "It’s not possible not to use him, it’s just a matter of how to do so."

Brian finally spoke, his face serious, "The problem with Chris is that he hasn’t changed his mindset. When he understands that once exposed, he could be killed for everything he’s done, his mindset will gradually shift. To achieve this isn’t hard, let him kill or be killed. Make him realize he’s no longer just a swindler."
