Chapter 277 - 273: It’s a picnic, not a field battle (2)
"What?" Sophie Smith had not expected to spend a night here with Asher Land.
"Come here." He urged impatiently.
With no other choice, Sophie moved closer to him. He held up a flashlight, watching Asher Land swiftly set up the tent. It was surprising to see that Asher, who was so adept in the business world, also had such great wilderness survival skills.
The tent was quickly assembled, and inside was spread with warm, cozy bedding. Due to the big day-night temperature difference, the outside was now nothing like the sunny and windy day. It was rather chilly, so without giving it much thought, Sophie kicked off her shoes and ducked inside the tent.
When you have no choice, you might as well enjoy the moment. If indeed she cannot go back tonight, she might as well enjoy the camping experience, after all, she had never camped before in her life!
Asher Land also came in, lifted the quilt, and lay down beside her.
The tent, which wasn’t very spacious to begin with, felt even more cramped with Asher inside. Sophie instinctively moved to the corner, but Asher extended his long arm, pulling her into his arms and holding her close.
At first, he just held her quietly. Gradually, his large hand slipped inside her clothes to caress her, and his thin lips covered her ear.
"Asher Land, ..." She groaned softly, wanting to put a stop to his mischief. This was the wilderness, after all; he shouldn’t get any inappropriate ideas.
"Hmm?" His voice was sensually hoarse, and she could clearly feel the change in his body.
During the days when her leg was injured, he had really been holding back. Now was the time to enjoy her.
"We came out for a picnic, not for wild... action." Her face was tinged with a blush as she spoke softly.
"What’s the difference? Don’t you know doing it outside is more thrilling? I’m sacrificing myself today to let you fully experience it," Asher said shamelessly into her ear.
She was both embarrassed and annoyed, reaching out to punch him on the chest forcefully, but in her current state, her muscles were like water, and the punch had no strength, feeling like a kitten’s gentle nudge to Asher.
His nimble tongue slipped into her mouth, tasting the sweetness within.
His large hands roamed over her body, trying to undo her clothes. The zipper on the back of her dress seemed stuck, not budging for a long time. Usually, he would have dealt with it by force, but here they were in the outskirts, without spare clothes for her to change into, so he had to be a bit more careful.
After smoothly removing her clothes, he lingered for a while, then entered her body.
Initially, he was gentle, but gradually he became like a wild beast, fiercely conquering her body. Sophie held onto the tent’s frame tightly, her face covered with a thin sheen of sweat.
"You better not hold onto the tent so tightly, what if it collapses?" He teased.
Sophie’s hand immediately relaxed a bit. Without even the tent’s cover, she’d be utterly mortified.
A night of passionate entanglement.
...
When Sophie woke up in the morning, she felt a bit cold, so she snuggled closer to Asher Land. Seeing her eyes tightly shut without any sign of waking, Asher didn’t disturb her.
However, he glanced at the time. It was already 9:40 AM. Estimating, Robert Williams had probably been waiting outside the tent for over two hours by now.
