Chapter 90: Bobby Exposed
"Xiu Yu, what's wrong?" Uzumaki Mito asked curiously.
"It's nothing. Just a little boy who accidentally wandered in," Su Xiu Yu replied calmly.
"You forgot to put on sunscreen today. Mind helping me apply some?" Mito added with a playful smile.
"Gladly," Su Xiu Yu replied without hesitation. After all, she was his woman. He showed no embarrassment at all. Meanwhile, Uchiha Chisato, standing to the side, turned red with embarrassment.
"Chisato, don't be so shy. It's just sunscreen. If you get flustered over this, how are you ever gonna find a boyfriend?" Mito teased, clearly enjoying Su Xiu Yu's "services" while side-eyeing Chisato0, who couldn't bring herself to watch.

Meanwhile, Bobby had finally found his parents. Oddly, despite him being gone for quite a while, they didn't seem all that worried. That hurt. Deep down, Bobby knew his parents had never abused him, but they were clearly afraid of him—maybe even disgusted.
People often say kids don't notice much. Bobby knew better.
He could see right through their forced smiles and awkward silences. Did they love him? Yes. But that love had long been corroded by fear. Fear of what he was becoming. Of what he could do. And when fear takes over love, all that's left is loneliness.
He didn't talk about it. Not to classmates. Not to anyone. If his own parents couldn't accept him, how could strangers?
That night, after the family finished hanging out, Bobby sat quietly in the backseat of his father's old Chevrolet.
