Chapter 88: Poor and Sad Father
"There's another Marcus sleeping underground," Selina muttered, narrowing her eyes.
She wasn't sure who the young man claiming to be with the FBI actually was, but one thing was clear—whoever he was, that boy wasn't your typical government agent. No way the U.S. government had people like that on payroll. Still, since he hadn't attacked her, she decided to treat him as neutral—for now.
"Release," said Uzumaki Asoaka as he formed a quick hand seal, dispelling the dojo's illusion.
Coulson stood nearby, unharmed, though the scene around him was carnage. He wasn't surprised, though. He remembered how even a little girl like Uchiha Chisato had shown no mercy. So Asaoka acting decisively? That was to be expected.
"You're saying there's a vampire elder sleeping underground?" Coulson asked.
"Yeah," Selina nodded. "Marcus. You could say he's the ancestor of all vampires."
To be honest, Selina didn't have any personal beef with Marcus—her vendetta was with Viktor. But it didn't matter. As a traitor to her kind, she knew Marcus wouldn't spare her if he ever woke up.
Coulson turned his gaze to the sealed sarcophagus lying on the ground. Then he looked at Asaoka. "Think you can open that for us?"
"No problem," Asaoka said casually.
He gathered chakra into his palm and smashed the sarcophagus with a single punch. The thick stone burst apart like wet cardboard. This was a strange power technique taught to him by Su Xiuyu—though Asaoka didn't know the move's original creator wasn't actually Su Xiuyu.
Coulson stared at the broken stone coffin, dumbfounded. "Do you guys even have weaknesses?"
