Chapter 82: Blood Pool Dance
"Is this the bar?" Coulson asked, eyeing the neon-lit building ahead.
"Yes, this is the one," Liam replied, his head slightly bowed. "They tend to gather here. Today is their designated bathing festival, so a lot of vampires should show up."
They stood in front of the infamous Columbin Bar, a popular spot in the area. Its reputation wasn't built just on its luxurious decor, but on the abundance of attractive men and women inside—a magnet for young partygoers.
"Alright," Chisato said calmly, "just stay in the car."
"What if he runs?" Coulson asked with concern. "I'm not exactly confident about relying on handcuffs with someone like him."
"You're right," Chisato replied, glancing at Liam. "If he really wanted to, he could probably break his own arms and slip out of the cuffs. Vampires have a much higher pain tolerance than normal humans."
"So... what now?" Coulson asked.
"Look into my eyes," Chisato said, stepping forward.
Liam, already plotting an escape in his mind, was abruptly pulled from his thoughts by the command. He looked into Chisato scarlet eyes.
"Wha—"
Before he could finish his sentence, his body went limp and he collapsed into unconsciousness.
