Multiversal Wanderer: Starting in Naruto

Chapter 83: Evaluation of Su Xiuyu

"Although I don't want to admit it, it's true—I didn't contribute much during this mission. Uchiha Chisato handled everything on her own and single-handedly wiped out the vampire group."

Coulson's voice carried a hint of embarrassment. He had always played a central role in previous operations, often serving as the backbone of the team. But this time, he felt like nothing more than a side character—a burden, even. The realization stung.

Fury, leaning back slightly, offered a calm response. "It's alright, Coulson. At least we uncovered this strange group of vampires. I had no idea they even existed until now. That's still valuable intel. Do you have anything to report about Uchiha Chisato or Su Xiuyu?"

"Captain, based on what I've seen, Chisato is incredibly versatile and powerful. If we compared her to mutants, I'd say she's the kind with multiple abilities. What's more important is her lineage—she's from the Uchiha clan."

Coulson continued, "According to Chisato, 'Uchiha' isn't just a surname. It represents their bloodline. Their powers are inherited—stable, consistent, passed down through generations. Unlike mutants, whose abilities manifest suddenly and are often unstable, the Uchihas' powers are systematic, refined."

Fury nodded slowly, processing the implications. So, there's a powerful clan behind Su Xiuyu... Just as I suspected.

Su Xiuyu's strength had always raised red flags. He hadn't even shown his full capabilities, and yet his presence was overwhelming. Carol had treated him differently, even respectfully. That alone said enough—Carol Danvers was practically a walking nuclear bomb. If she saw Su Xiuyu as an equal, or worse, a superior, then this wasn't someone to take lightly.

Fury turned his attention back to Coulson's report.

"Under normal conditions, Chisato eyes appear as typical black pupils, like most Asians. But when she taps into her bloodline abilities, her eyes turn red—and there's an eerie, almost ominous glow to them. We've confirmed that her eyes possess a form of hypnotic power, maybe even more."

Coulson paused, then added, "The first vampire we captured was hypnotized while we were in the car. After revealing the location of their hideout, he simply shut down. He's still unconscious, even now."

"He hasn't woken up?" Fury raised an eyebrow.
