Chapter 295
Anne’s hand shook with anger. She wanted to do so much more to Margaret, but she could not right now with so many eyes watching. She needed to get rid of Margaret without Amelia finding out.
Margaret got over the shock of being slapped by the stranger and raised her hand to return the slap. "You! How-"
Cordelia pulled Anne away before she could be slapped. They had raised Anne by never laying a finger on her because she had always been a good child who followed their words. No one in the Blackwell castle had a right to lay a hand on her.
"So this is her," Ramona said, coming between Anne and the old woman. "You’ve got some nerve to kill my daughter."
"She’s not your daughter," Sybil muttered.
"I have not killed anyone’s daughter," Margaret said, her eyes glued to the woman who laid a hand on her. She had never seen any of these people before.
"You killed our precious daughter. Your son took her from us and trapped her here. Gave her hell each day with his promiscuous ways. The child deserved more than a few witches could offer her. Your son is lucky to be dead, but there is something to be done about you. We shall meet soon," Ramona said, having a punishment in mind for the old woman.
It was one that would keep Margaret around them for a little while and have her hate every second of it.
Margaret still did not know what they spoke of. They spoke of Richard so she started to think of the many women he brought into the castle. There were one or two that she had to get rid of since they irritated her and became pregnant. She could not have them live long enough to have a child and take Amelia’s spot.
