Chapter 375: A Candle in the Wind
"Huh?"
"I'm in no rush. A few years later is fine."
Kushina reacted strongly, her cheeks flushing. She and Minato were still a little short of adulthood, but if her grandmother were truly insistent, getting married early wasn't entirely out of the question.
"I wasn't talking about you."
Mito looked at Kushina with a smile. The girl was really impatient.
"I'm in no rush either," Nawaki added, fully aware that Mito's remarks were aimed at him. Living under the same roof as Misaki, he felt no urgency. To him, marriage was just a formality. After all, who in Konoha didn't already consider Misaki his woman?
Besides, he didn't feel ready to be a husband. He wasn't mature enough yet.
"I'm already—" Misaki began, but her words were cut short by Mito's impatient interruption.
"What's the rush?"
"You're in no hurry, but what about Misaki? She's all grown up—do you want to wait until she's an old woman?"
Mito's tone was slightly agitated, and she spoke quickly, leaving Nawaki momentarily confused. What was going on? He'd only been to a wedding, but ever since returning home, his grandmother seemed different. She had never brought up such topics before.
