Chapter 376: Kawakaze Makes the Decision
"What are you talking about? No one answered the door."
Kawakaze, feeling completely at home, casually sat down after greeting Mito.
"Yes, I could hear you all talking from far away," Tsunade added, sitting down next to Kawakaze and picking up a side dish to snack on.
"It's nothing. Yesterday, my grandma said she wants Brother Nawaki to get married early," Kushina explained, glancing around the room. She seemed to be looking for someone.
"Don't bother looking. Minato suddenly got a mission," Kawakaze said, easily reading Kushina's thoughts. "He'll probably be done by the afternoon."
"Oh, I know!" Kushina sighed as she sat back down, disappointment flickering in her eyes. She had been looking forward to her date from last night.
"Getting married early is a good thing. Has the date been set?" Tsunade asked, wiping her greasy fingers on a paper towel as she turned her attention to Nawaki.
"No, no," Nawaki quickly waved his hands in protest. "Grandma just had a sudden urge to bring it up. Misaki and I are planning to wait a few years. Just now, Grandma agreed."
"Oh, I see." Tsunade tossed the paper towel away, brushing off the topic.
"I was just talking casually. They should decide their own affairs themselves," Mito said, seemingly forgetting that she had been the one to push for the marriage just yesterday. Her attitude had taken a complete turn.
"A few years later is fine. Nawaki isn't qualified enough yet," Tsunade commented, raising her hand with a teasing expression, which immediately made Nawaki flinch.
