Chapter 171: An unhappy empress and a date.
Two people received pictures of Mei Mei being comforted by the emperor. One was Jingzhe and the other was the empress. Jingzhe deleted the picture, left the company and went to pick her up from work. When Empress Hui received it, she sneered and instructed one of her maids to send it to the peep star. On the list of people Empress Hui did not like, Jun Meilin was at the top. She was the invisible rival for the heart of her husband.
A shadow in their marriage that refused to go away. When she vanished after marrying a poor loser, empress Hui had celebrated. She did not expect that poor loser to get a mistress, have a little bastard and then return to earth, ruining things for her.
Now, her husband and Jun Meilin were back in touch and he was already running after her like a dog in heat 24/7. She often wondered what people would think if they knew that the emperor of the nation was a simp, a licking dog.
Empress Hui had heard from from one of the royal agents that protected the emperor that Jun Meilin had told him to give up the throne. She was worried that her husband would be foolish enough to do such a thing. But, she was never going to let it happen.
As the most powerful woman in the empire and one of the most powerful in the world, how could she give up her position to become the wife of a disc jockey? She picked up an application form for The Chi Chi school which had a picture of her daughter Long Shuang.
Her lips curled upwards. When Shuang joined the school, empress Hui and Jun Meilin would finally meet. She would remind the woman to know her place. Perhaps she would not even have to wait and she would meet her at the national liberation day celebrations.
It would not be a good day for a confrontation however as all of the Jun’s and Chi’s would be there. Other members of the royal family would also be present and they would all fawn over Jun Meilin.
She gestured at one of her personal maids to come closer and whispered something to her. Then, she handed her a vial and the maid rushed away to do the bidding of her mistress.
