Chapter 40: The weakest is picked on first.
Mo Liang arrived when they were still eating breakfast. As soon as he set his eyes on Mei Mei, a sly smile rose from his lips and he made his way to the dining table. Mei Mei was sitting between Mingzhu and Jingzhe, one of them needed to move to create space for him.
As it was known, the weakest was the first to be picked on when it came to everything,
"Mingzhu, move." he ordered crassly.
His right hand impatiently pulled on the back of the chair as Mingzhu made no move to stand. Instead, she pouted and turned to her mother.
Mei Mei smiled at her daughter and handed her a muffin. "Eat,"
Mingzhu nodded, smiled and ate her muffin.
Mo Liang clenched his hands and then he moved to Mo Jingzhe’s side.
"Move, I want to sit next to my wife."
Mo Jingzhe scoffed, he did the same thing that Mei Mei had done for Mingzhu, he placed a muffin on her plate and smiled. "Mei Mei, eat, we have ten minutes left or we will be late."
Mei Mei was like her daughter, she responded in the same way too, biting into the muffin and then taking a sip of milk.
Mo Liang was angered, he felt disrespected so he put his hand on Jingzhe’s shoulder, intending to move him away by force. Out of the blue, Mo Jingzhe fell out of the chair and landed on the ground as if he had been shoved with incredible force. The half eaten bowl of sweet red bean porridge he had been eating fell on his arm.
