She was still chuckling when they arrived outside the gates of The Chi Chi school. The school was famous for many reasons, the first being its unique appearance. It was built like one big sixty storied space ship about to lift off. To date, architects visited the school daily to discover how the building had been built.
The building was futuristic, constructed with only materials from space. During day, it was translucent and in the night, it glowed with constellations in the sky. It contained lecture halls, libraries, solar gardens, research labs and a zero gravity stadium.
Instead of school buses, students were picked up and dropped off in pods. Lessons were delivered through holographic interfaces and robot butlers were common on school grounds. It was one of the few places in the world where they were allowed to operate.
For many, it was a dream to attend the school however the school itself had many rules. They took in no more than two hundred students a year from all over the world. Mingzhu had been squeezed in because of her blood.
Mei Mei, Feng Qi, Jingzhe and Mingzhu were told to leave their flying car behind and take a pod to the office of the school principal. As for Mo Liang, as soon as he identified himself, he was denied entrance into the school.
Seething, he called Tang Yue. "Isn’t it time for Hao to start school?"
Tang Yue was confused by two things, one was the question and the other was Mo Liang’s raised voice. When he left her bed that morning, he had been happy. What had happened in less than two hours to ruin his mood?
