Chapter 221: Healing Hearts
Claud looks at Astri and sighs, with a mix of feelings. What he most feared to happen, happened.. The evil forces took Astri, and they tried to consume her for years. They held her for years.
"When her soul was broken, Baal held her with him. She didn’t imagine she had fought and stayed with him for so long.." Kangki says in a low voice.
Their hearts sank when they heard that.
"Are you saying she stayed with him for years? All these years without form, before she met Kenzou and Shinkou, she was with him?" Zin asks.
Kangki nods. All of them look at Astri, their hearts sad for what she has been through.
"She said that... She didn’t fear him at any moment. She held herself onto our love for her. That if I could get out of evil by following her love, she could do the same easily." Kangki softly says.
"You went through the same?" Shinkou asks.
"Kangki was a Monster once." Tyr tells Shinkou, making Shinkou impressed.
"It doesn’t take the fact that she went through the thing I feared the most.. I want to go see the Shrine. That is the kind of place Astri has to be. We need to raise a place with the same energy." Claud says.
They trust Claud’s opinions, and if he believes that’s important, then they should look after it the same as him.
"You better wait outside.. If you see her naked, you might not hold up. I couldn’t, as you can see." Kangki says.
