Beastmen Love

Claud agreed to let Kangki stay with Astri first. Claud was the last one who had a night with her before the battle with Baal, so he decided to let Kangki go first. Kangki and Claud are like oil and water, but they became best friends, knowing what the other is thinking without even needing to look at each other’s minds.

Astri could notice that all of her spouses might have changed some aspects, but there was something good about what happened. They became more connected, united; if they didn’t have each other to hold onto, they would have given up long ago.

Before Astri went to the bedroom, Kangki made sure to make it romantic. Lighting up some candles, preparing a hot bath, and decorating with flowers. He took the idea from Lee once Lee mentioned what he wanted to do when Astri was back. Astri looks around, impressed, and when she sees Kangki coming out from the bathroom, she’s impressed that he was the one who made all of that. Normally, he’s more practical; he stays close, talks a little bit, then makes out, and so on.

"Finally... All mine." He says, and then makes her float to him with his powers.

He hugs her by her waist, firmly, like he wants to glue her to him. Even though Kangki’s dark eyes are scary for some people, Astri is very attracted to them because she can easily see all his emotions through them. In others’ eyes, it’s simply a black iris and a black pupil. She could see as it was normal brown eyes, and the raw emotions were clearly in them.

She holds his face with her hands and automatically unleashes his tears again. She touches her forehead to his, and he sighs, relieved to sense her pure energy and her sweet scent.

"I missed you... I feared every day of going back being a Monster because of the hate I had for myself for letting your soul be broken in front of me. For not being strong enough to protect you.. Yuki could always sense when I was on my worst days and would simply hug me... If it wasn’t for her, I think I would be dead already, and I’ll be eternally grateful.. But it wasn’t you... I was never complete without you.. I beg you, Astri... Never again do something like that.." He says, with his voice cracking.

"I could never lose you, Kangki.. I could never lose any of you. If it hurts you, the thought of losing me, it hurts as much on me. We protect each other. And it will always be like that.. I’m sorry if you suffered this much. I can only imagine because since I woke up in Hinoshiki Village, the feeling of emptiness and solitude was a constant thing poking in my heart, too. I can’t imagine how painful it was to all of you spending so many years with that." She says, also with tears falling from her eyes.

He holds her face with one hand, trying to take her pain away, too.

"When my soul was broken, I spent some time in the darkness.. with Baal. I just didn’t know it was seven years.."

"All these years..? In the darkness?" He asks, shocked.
