Chapter 79: Fighting 5 Champions (III)
Arasbus’ eyes could not believe what he was seeing. Although he did not care about losing a few hundred or even a thousand demonic beasts to the traps and spells barrage of the enemy, this was entirely different.
For starters, the demonic force on the upper side was three thousand strong and included almost half a dozen demonic Champions. Not to mention, the humans were not really drawing themselves out, and with every kill, they were actually improving.
"March! March! March!" The Abyssal Champion shouted in rage to the rest of the demonic horde at the bottom of the mountain, urging them to advance faster so they could reunite with those on the top.
Unfortunately for the demonic horde, the mud made escalating the five hundred meters a monumental task.

Vlad noticed how the demonic horde was rising slowly and knew the first part of his plan was a complete success. Had their enemy been other humans or angels, it would have been much more complicated, but demons relied too much on their numbers and brute power, so a simple plan was the best tactic.
Of course, things were far from over, and they needed to kill this part of the demonic horde fast before the rest could reach the upper side of the mountain.
Vlad’s energy exploded with even more strength as he stepped back, dodging one of the claws of the Golden Demon Lizard before sending an upper kick that landed on the demon’s jaw and immediately slashed to the side, intercepting the spider’s legs.
The Demon Spider was strong and fast, but his movements were too easy to predict. Vlad blocked the spikes with one sword, making the second weapon disappear to aim his free hand at the Champion demon’s face.
