Chapter 184: misunderstanding
Malik
My eyes widened in shock as his question echoed around in my head. His cheeks were flushed deeply and he attempted to avert his gaze, but I tightened my hold on his chin and quickly scooped my facial expression. That had been the last thing I expected him to say, because well, for one I didn’t think he’d actually want me to fuck him. So this means he was attracted to me, I’m guessing?
I studied him closely before slowly exhaling. I didn’t want to fuck this up. I wanted to give him the perfect response, but I also didn’t want to come off as eager to avoid overwhelming him and putting myself out there. But then I also didn’t want him to think I didn’t want him to incase he actually wants me. Because I do want him, a whole lot. Getting to fuck him would literally make all of the fantasies I’ve had these past few weeks to come to live at once.
I finally nodded solely before exhaling again. "Yes, Ace. I’ll definitely feel privileged, anyone would. They’d be stupid to not." I responded, watching as his eyes briefly darted over my face before he sucked in a breath and slowly nodded. My eyes landed on his bottom lip for a moment and the heat in my stomach clenched tightly.
His lips were a little swollen from the amount of times he had bitten them and I desperately wanted to run my tongue over his plump bottom lip.
Of course, my phone chose that moment to ring and he stiffened at obfe. I didn’t stop him when he glanced away this time, his cheeks still flaming.
"Cool then." He muttered awkwardly while pushing his hair out of his face. "You should answer that." He was referring to the phone this time. I was yet to tear my eyes from his face. I didn’t want to answer the fucking phone. Fuck the phone. What I actually want to do is to lean through the distance between us and take his lips in a kiss
I reluctantly accepted the call and robotically spoke to my assistant who was trying to confirm my schedule for the coming week with me. I was cranky so I kept snapping at him till the call ended. I huffed out a breath as I shoved my phone back into my pocket just as Ace’s voice rang out beside me.
"The rain has stopped."
