Chapter 118: A Chance To Be Close!
The touch of Aiden’s cool palm on Kylian’s cheek jolted him from shock. Retrieving his senses back, he realized the uneasy heartache flared inside him had unknowingly let him tear up, as his pearl-white tears were streaming down his burning hot cheeks.
For a brief moment, Kylian was stunned to realize he couldn’t suppress his tears after hearing the bitter revelation about Zenith from Aiden...but what shocked him the most was despite he was a strong resilient boy since growing up, swearing himself never to show his weakness before the world...
Now that his path had crossed with Zenith, that one person had turned him too sensitive and an emotional mess inside, to the point he was shedding tears for the one he should’ve never gotten attached to in the first place!
Moved by the sincerity in every small gesture that Zenith had shown him all this time, his naive heart had already assumed there was a special connection blooming between them...only to have his short-lived bliss crash by the truth of Zenith’s playboy nature.

Thus, even thinking about a blurred future with him led the agony inside his broken heart to stream down his eyes as tears, but it made Kylian feel ashamed to have Aiden watch this side of him.
He quickly swayed his palm holding onto his cheeks and wiped his tears himself, while forging an awkward smile on his quivering lips, "No, of course I am not crying! Oh, this...I...I just had some dust in my eyes I think. Yeah...that’s the case."
Even though Kylian tried hard to fake his smile and pretend to be fine, just gazing at the sadness that prevailed in his ocean eyes gave Aiden the clear answer he was looking for.
His heart throbbed with an uneasy pain and clenching his fist, he couldn’t help but murmur to himself, ’He’s already infatuated with Zenith, even in this short time? What the hell has exactly happened between these two? Just by looking at him, I can realize, those eyes can never lie, no matter how hard he tries to smile before me.
