Chapter 116: It Hurts
In his high school years, when most of Kylian’s friends were experiencing the bliss of innocent first love, Kylian rather chose to devote himself to learning hard physical training, and extra tuition classes so that every day he could reach one step closer to his goal of becoming an Elite Alpha of their narrow-minded society.
Love chose to intervene in his path of dedication a few times when he received many proposals from the gorgeous girls in his school, but without a second thought, he turned all of them down, hurting their pride badly. It rather intended to spread strange rumors about him among the students, but mastering his art of indifference, Kylian was never very bothered by it.
He always believed he could only reciprocate the feelings of love after mutually feeling it inside him, towards the person who had approached him. By not having any sense of attraction even towards those beautiful girls, Kylian often questioned himself if he was only attracted to men.
But even that thinking was crushed soon when he received a proposal from a young omega boy whom he was assigned to as his trainer in the gym he was working in his hometown. Though omegas were always considered gorgeous among all the classes of society, he still didn’t feel any sort of attraction towards him as well.
However, upon returning home on that day, with a confused face when he asked Marita how to identify himself if he was attracted to someone...to which his mother had only smiled subtly before responding in a soft voice.

Unknowingly when Kylian’s heart was pondering about Zenith’s absence to witness such beautiful scenery, Marita’s words echoed inside his ears, making him turn fluster red with the awkward realization.
His ocean eyes swirled a bit impatiently when he tried to deny his own conflicted emotions, mumbling to himself, ’I must have really lost my mind. Me...in love with that weird pervert? I know he has helped me so many times...even in my first heat...that’s why, I must be just confused... I must be mistaking my gratitude for him for love...
