Chapter 115: The Viewpoint
"Such a strong and brave man like you is afraid of spider webs...this is fuckin’ hilarious, haha!" However, Aiden intentionally laughed aloud, watching his porcelain cheeks turn flushed red. After he had his fill of chuckle, he carefully grazed his soft sleek black hairs to make sure every mesh webs were wiped out.
By then Kylian had retrieved his senses back and realized that Aiden had saved him again from stumbling down the stairs by holding him tight from behind.
Still bearing his flustered and panicked face due to the exposure of his weakness before Aiden, he slowly unleashed himself from his hold while mumbling at him, "Every person has their particular vulnerable point... Despite my strength, I am still afraid of spiders because they gross me out. Every time something like this happens, I freak out...and...if you find it hillarious, go ahead and laugh at me."
Even though Aiden had purely laughed about it by unexpectedly witnessing his vulnerable side, but realizing it was making him embarrassed to his core, he didn’t bother to smile anymore.
Rather, he chose to walk ahead and grabbed Kylian’s hand from behind, as he uttered, "I apologize if I made you feel awkward. That’s why, you should follow after me from behind and I will watch out so that you won’t have to face the spider webs anymore. How does that sound?"
His embarrassment seemed to tone down a little with his apology as Kylian nodded at his proposal, to let him walk ahead first. And Aiden was indeed clearing out those spider webs first as they were marching upstairs, making Kylian feel a bit grateful towards him for owning his words.
’He doesn’t seem like the rude punk I had assumed him at first... I have never seen him bully other students too, despite him being Zenith’s friend. Maybe...he’s actually a nice guy who’s trapped here among these crazy Alpha brats.’
The thought struck inside Kylian’s head as his keen eyes continued gazing at Aiden’s broad shoulder from behind, while he was being taken upstairs.
After a long anticipating climb of over 15 minutes, finally, both of them reached the roof top of the building. The belltower roof was on the 25th floor, and those two young boys could only make it due to their tough-trained muscular body, otherwise, it would’ve been quite a tedious task for someone having a bit weaker body, like Stephan, or Dan.
Upon reaching there, Kylian inhaled a deep huff of breath, while his gaze was watching the widespread roof with clean mild warm air wafting past them. While he was busy looking at his surroundings, Aiden tapped on his shoulder and pointed his index finger toward a viewpoint right ahead of them, "Look there."
"Wow..." It was the viewpoint of a gorgeous big waterfall with pearl-white crystal-like water carving straight out of the huge green mountains, surrounding Westport city from the northern part.
The waterfall was so huge and magnificent that it was clearly visible from the rooftop, along with a beautiful rainbow that had formed due to the sunrays falling on the clear water rushing downwards as a big stream. Kylian was mesmerized by the beauty of mountains as while growing up in a seaside town, he didn’t have the privilege enough to explore the beautiful hills.
