Chapter 98: You can be vulnerable
"Ahem! Does anybody have any questions regarding the first lesson we finished?"
Mr. Matt’s loud voice jolted Kylian back to reality while he was completely mesmerized by Zenith’s unbeatable beauty. While he was not paying any attention to the class, the first lesson had already ended, which made him feel a surge of guilt inside.
Quickly shuffling his gaze back on the notebook, he tried to focus on the class once again when Mr. Matt began the second lesson. However, after scribbling notes halfway through, he felt Zenith slightly groaning in his sleep as if he was suffering from a nightmare!
Kylian clicked his tongue getting frustrated with his own vulnerable side for not being able to ignore Zenith completely. Until now, his road to his Academics were always his first priority to begin with. But now, in his life, a beautiful silver haired Alpha had glamorously entered who made it impossible for poor Kylian to lift his eyes off him, most of the times.
Sliding a quick glance, he saw Zenith’s brows were frowned and indeed he was making a faint groaning noise, while clenching his jaws hard. He was deeply asleep, but from one glance Kylian could catch upon him having suffer from some kind of terrible dream.
’Damn it... this is really driving me crazy. My eyes keep wandering at him most of the times when I should be taking my studies seriously.
’And just look at this prick, deeply asleep enough to even dream of something, right in the middle of the class! He keeps frustrating me with his actions, but I feel more angry with myself that I just can’t ignore him when he’s being vulnerable around me...’
The thoughts wandered inside his head, making Kylian exhale a heavy sigh when he softly tappd Zenith on his side-face as a means to wake him up. But no matter how much he nudged him, he didn’t budge, except the frown within his brow ridge slowly dissolved with Kylian’s soft touch on his face.
"Didn’t you sleep properly last night? I bet you must have been thinking of some other means to keep tormenting me, isn’t it so?" Unable to awaken him, Kylian mumbled in a hopeless voice, once again realizing that his center of attention rolled only around Zenith in the class.
Watching his frown and his tensed face relax a little from his touch, Kylian gently kept caressing his white porcelain cheeks as a soft smile curved his lips when he murmured, "Fine, I don’t know what were you doing last night, but I will let you sleep peacefully for now. Even though you’re disrupting my studies now, but I am only letting you off the hook because you look too cute while sleeping like a big silver-furred pup, okay?"
But at that moment, Kylian winced a little when he saw Zenith’s relaxed face start to get a bit strained, due to the flashing warm sunrays falling over his face from the giant glass window beside Kylian.
Quickly realizing his discomfort, Kylian closed the windows first to lessen the amount of sun rays entering inside and disrupting his sleep, but it was of no use.
