Chapter 233: Mr. Nexera
"Now," he implied.
Allison was beyond shocked when she saw her father at the college. The last time she had seen him was during his unexpected visit, when he’d tried to persuade her to convince Kace to pay off his debt. She hadn’t heard from him since, and now, seeing him here, her mind raced with questions.
"What are you doing here, father?" Allison questioned, glaring at him up and down. Five months ago after his disappearance again, she’d hoped never to see him again.
Unfortunately for her, she was mistaken if she thought he would leave her alone.
"Stop asking questions and follow me right now," he demanded.
"I’m not going anywhere with you," Allison responded.
Mr. Quinn turned impatient and pulled Allison off the seat and intended to drag her away. But Kace was quick to hold his hand to stop him.
"Mr. Quinn, Allison just said she doesn’t want to go anywhere with you," Kace said as he stood up, towering over the middle-aged man with a height of 6 ’4 inches.
"You’d better mind your business, boy. I’m her father and she gets to do what I tell her to do," Mr. Quinn said, attempting to move toward Allison. Unfortunately for him, Kace stood in his way.
"I know you’re old and all, but I don’t think you’re deaf, so you must have heard me the first time," Kace said.
He couldn’t help but wonder what the man who stood before him—glaring at him as if he was the cause of all his life problems—would need from Allison that he wanted her to follow him immediately.
