"You signed a contract without the presence of the CEO. Also, you didn’t bother to question the shareholders if they had the right to sign on my behalf. You’ve been in this kind of business for decades, Mr. Nexera, so you should know that’s not how business works," she responded, her tone cold and chilling this time around.
The grin on Mr. Nexera’s lips faltered.
He remembered the moment he’d signed the deal with Logan and the others. They had assured him that Anastasia was still new to their kind of business, and he had assumed she wouldn’t have the foresight or boldness to come after him to terminate the contract. He had underestimated her, never imagining she would take such decisive action so soon. Now, the weight of that miscalculation pressed heavily on his mind.

"Did you wonder why they wanted to sign up with my company?" He questioned her. "You should be glad you got the chance to sign a partnership deal with my company. Don’t throw the chance out the window just like that."
"If you’re talking about the chance to tarnish the image of my company, then thanks but I will have to pass," Anastasia replied with a stiff smile on her face.
Mr. Nexera felt insulted again.
"My lawyer here..." Anastasia pointed at her lawyer who had been listening to their conversation quietly. "Have some documents ready for you to sign to terminate the contract."
