Chapter 232: Buy Them All Out!!
"I assure you, Mr. Martins, this meeting will not waste your time," Anastasia said as she took a seat, crossing her legs with calculated poise. Her gaze swept across the room before she continued, her voice cold and commanding.
"Now, which one of you betrayed this company and signed a partnership deal with Nexera Enterprise without consulting me first?" Her words hung heavy in the air, and the tension deepened as the shareholders exchanged uneasy glances.
Everyone seated around the table grew quiet as some people’s eyes wandered from one place to another, as though she wasn’t right in front of them.
"Answer me!!" She demanded, her firm tone ringing in their ears as she glared at each and every one of them.
"We did what was right!" Logan stood up and replied. "Nexera enterprise is an influential company. They can really help to strengthen this company!"
"When I last checked, Mr. Martins, I am the CEO of this company. Only I have the right to decide whom we should partner with and whom we shouldn’t partner with..."
"Mrs. Wallace, we only did what was right for the company. For the past three months, the stocks have already increased by 60%. When Robert and Jack used to be in charge, the stocks would have increased by 90% at least."
The person who just spoke was Jinton Grey, another shareholder who was in cohort with Logan and the others that despised Anastasia being in charge of the company.
Anastasia couldn’t believe her ears. She’d thought the first day she’d reclaimed her seat, she’d made it clear enough to everyone that she was in charge.
Despite knowing the atrocities Robert and his family had caused her, they still decided to support him and demand she stepped down and bring Robert back.
If only they knew the man was already rotting six feet under the ground, paying for his sins in hell.
