Chapter 188: It Has Already Been Poisoned
"Wait! That’s not how to play the game," Kace scolded Anastasia.
"Teach me properly, will you? You just gave me the control as if I already knew how to use this thing," Anastasia mumbled under her breath as she took the game controller from his hands.
"I’ve told you several times, you are just a bad player," Kace retorted, heaving over to start the game.
"Don’t make me hit you with this," Anastasia threatened, holding the game controller in a threatening manner, ready to smack Kace with it, which had the latter back away from her a little.
The game resumed, and both Kace and Anastasia played their time away, while Xavier was in his room handling the matter concerning the massive kill in Glamourwood.
The serial killers began toying with the citizens of Fameville, the city where Anastasia and her co-actors wanted to promote their movie. Since the city became a dangerous place to travel in, they had to cut their movie tour short which made it last only two weeks.
"So, how is this revenge thing going for ya? Are you scaring them enough?" Kace asked mid-game.
"I don’t know enough about scaring them. But I’m sure they would be scared of each other from now on," Anastasia replied, her focus still on the game. "I’m just waiting for those two bodyguards to confess and then, I will start. Now don’t distract me anymore," she almost yelled when she was about to die in the game.
"You think you can beat me?" Kace teased his focus also on the game.
Both of them continued the game for an extra hour and then stopped when Anastasia gave up.
