"That’s because I now own everything that belongs to the Harrison family," he finished.
Michelle couldn’t tell if Jack was playing a prank on her, or if he was serious. But the look in his eyes only showed he was serious with what he’d just said.
"So there you have it little sis, Anastasia is not coming back to take anything. Not in this life or the next one."
"How did you get everything that belongs to the Harrison family in your name? Does father know about this?" She questioned, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
The smirk on Jack’s lips only stretched even more.
"A magician never reveals their secret. And as for Dad knowing...he will soon. But for the meantime, he can enjoy his remaining days thinking he’s the head of the house," he responded.
Turning back to his closet, he added, "Selene has no proof against us if she does turn out to be Anastasia, so we are safe. Nothing will go wrong."
’He’s only talking like this because it wasn’t his career which was ruined just recently,’ Michelle thought to herself.
Since Jack wasn’t afraid that Anastasia was indeed Selene, Michelle felt as if she was alone in this battle.
If Anastasia hadn’t been a problem she had to take care of, Michelle would be questioning Jack how he got their father’s properties, but she had better things to do at the moment.
She turned around and exited his room.
