Chapter 128: Emotions going haywire
Kyrell was currently in deep slumber inside his cave on the eagle cliff when he sensed a burst of unusual power inside the beast city. As he resided inside the city, his powers were spread throughout a certain domain which in turn cautioned him about the unusual dark powers.
He got up and walked out of the cave and wrinkled his nose realizing that the unusual power repelled his light power. It was quite powerful and the complete opposite of his power, "Light and Darkness....." he muttered to himself and shifted to his beast form. He had to look for the source of the dark powers, so he soared into the sky and started flying in the dark power’s direction.
Soon he reached the snake tribe and frowned when he caught sight of one of Lyra’s mates kneeling on the ground. He darted his eyes in the opposite direction and saw a beastman with dark blue hair smirking at Blake.
Kyrell narrowed his eyes at the stranger who reeked of dark energy. Instinctively he released some of his light energy against the stranger’s dark powers which made Blake snap out of the illusion.
Kaizer furrowed his eyes when he saw Blake standing up from the ground. He sensed his powers going haywire and looked at the sky as Kyrell stared right back at him with his sharp eagle eyes.
He was about to say something but felt himself being encircled in a tight grip.
Blake was now wholly in his beast form. His green eyes glowed as he glared at Kaizer with a menacing gaze. He tightened his grip on Kaizer, brought him in front of him, and was ready to sink his venomous fangs inside his body but Kaizer’s hands turned to wolf claws.
He clutched Blake’s throat and smirked. Blake narrowed his eyes and once again tightened his grip against Kaizer’s waist which made him wince in pain.
"Uh!" Kaizer glared at Blake and shifted into his wolf form. Blake didn’t expect him to do that and was surprised, due to this momentary distraction, Kaizer freed himself from Blake’s grip and got on the ground.
As soon as he got down, he used his shadow creature to attack Kyrell in the sky.
Kyrell was not able to react on time, and he felt himself being surrounded by the shadow creature which reeked darkness. As a light power wielder, he was repulsed by darkness and tried to get out of it but the shadow creature started fighting against him.
