Chapter 126: Rootless beast
Kaizer moved together with the other wolf warriors and finally reached the snake tribe after marching for some time. He smirked when he noticed the other tribe’s beastmen already defending the entrance, "It is going to be fun" he muttered to himself and quietly left his place. He wanted to observe first and then attack someone strong.
Peter on the other side of the battlefield nodded his head, and soon his warriors turned into their beast forms and scurried towards the opponents.
The black wolf king too turned and stepped towards Peter who he presumed was the one leading the battle on the other side. Peter too turned and struck the wolf king with his tail. Both of them were five marked beastman, so they soon got separated from the others and started dueling.
Alexander avoided Peter’s tail the second time and made sure to claw his body. ’Sssss’ Peter hissed and opened his mouth to end this fight with his venomous bite but got distracted when he saw small black figures darting inside the battlefield. The wolf king took advantage of his momentary distraction and bit his waist making Peter hiss in pain.
Peter turned around and coiled his tail around the wolf’s waist and slammed him against a huge boulder.
The boulder was reduced to pieces because of the impact. As the wolf king was still struggling on the ground, Peter took this chance and entered the battlefield, and as expected, his young masters were fighting against the opponents. They split themselves into groups and attacked the wolf with their venomous fangs. Due to their small stature, the opponents were not able to discern them properly which worked to their advantage for them to sink their fangs and kill the black wolves.
Peter observed them with an admiration gaze. ’They were just like their father’ But his thoughts came to halt when he sensed a hostile presence behind him. He turned around and found a beastman with purple eyes staring back at him. He reeked of a dangerous aura that made even him a five-marked beastman shiver in his place. ’An immortal beastman!’ he could guess that much by looking at the stranger.
"What is an immortal beastman doing inside a battle filed?" he asked after gaining his composure, "This is against the rule....." his next words died in his throat as he was slammed against the ground.
Kaizer used his shadow creature to hit the snake beastman in front of him. He was irked when he mentioned the so-called ’Rules’ How dare these pests to question his decision?
