Chapter 86: Doubts
Reaching their bonfire, they saw Blake and Lucas sitting in front of the blazing flame. Lucas who was grilling the meat lifted his head when he sensed their presence and smiled at Lyra.
She smiled back at him and reached the place sitting between Blake and Lucas "Did you guys complete your tribe’s issue?"
Lucas nodded his head, handing the grilled meat to her "I went to oversee the matters regarding the city’s safety, There was information about many stray beastmen lurking around the city in shadows, I don’t know what those bastards are planning now"
"Is it that bad?" Lyra asked worriedly
"They always do this when they plan on attacking the city, even in the past, they managed to break through our shield during a banquet" Noah was the one who answered her question.
Blake frowned hearing their words "Should I ask my men to keep an eye on the stray beast territory?"
Noah shook his head "It is dangerous if we do that, after Victor left that place, it has become uncontrollable because of Michael’s rule. The stray beastmen have started becoming reckless, they will kill your men if they find them spying"
"I don’t think that territory is in Michael’s control Noah," Lucas said as he clenched his fists "The fox king is the one who is controlling it behind the scenes, Michael is just a puppet in his hands"
"I agree" Blake added
Lyra looked at the three of them in confusion "Who is Michael?"
All of them turned towards her. Blake pulled her towards him "He is the current king of stray beasts"
