The night passed uneventfully after the whole ordeal. At this moment, Kranos’s expression was solemn; he could still recall the assassination attempt from the previous night. Without further delay, he rushed to the antique shop.
Since he already knew the location of the antique shop, he no longer needed Leroy. Back at home, he had just left about a thousand mana stones and a note of his departure for Leroy. Upon reaching the familiar building decorated by treasures, Kranos didn’t waste any time admiring its beauty and immediately stepped inside.
However, just as he was about to enter, a figure bumped into him like the previous time. Kranos was stunned and quickly turned to see that it was the lady from before. He glanced at her with a frown; from her previous behavior, he had already guessed that she was up to no good.
Now seeing her bump into him a second time, he immediately felt that something was wrong. He glanced at her coldly for a moment. However, this time, since he was in a haste, he didn’t give her the chance to respond before rushing into the shop.
Although the lady looked stunned, she bit her lip and didn’t follow him. However, Kranos didn’t notice the cunning glint in her eyes as soon as he walked past her.
After walking a few feet, like before, the assistant met up with Kranos and invited him to Gravel’s office. Though he was slightly surprised that Kranos, who had purchased a few materials the previous day, was back again, he didn’t think too much about it.
Soon, they reached the familiar office. This time, Gravel wasn’t studying a piece of jewelry, but was reading a book. Sensing someone step into his office, he put his book down and glanced at them. He immediately noticed Kranos and his assistant.
"Young man, you are back again. How may I help you?" he asked with a polite smile.
Kranos didn’t beat about the bush and immediately told him what he wanted to purchase.
