Kranos was speechless for a moment, he didn’t have any words to retort as that was basically true. He had heard about how ten years ago the creature was barely in the golden core realm. Sure, she would increase in strength in a short span of ten years but wouldnt it be the same for the creature?
He immediately changed the topic, "do you know the whereabouts of the demon?"
Amira shook her head, "i have only been here for about six months, i had to do many preparations before coming so i am not privy to many information."
"In that case you should head back i will continue the impersonation for you," kranos said with a smile.
"That wont be possible," amira immediately disagreed, seeing kranos frowning she explained, "every week Ko usually check if this gu worm is still present within our body, if it isnt, the person is immediately killed," as she spoke she took off her mask, at the mouth piece of the mask kranos saw a gu worm trapped.
He couldn’t help bbut give the lady a second glance, his frown deepening. This complicated things thankfully he encountered amira, if he had rashly impersonated another person he wouldnt have know how his identity would have been exposed.
Kranos immediately began thinking of counter measures but he could only come up with one. His gaxe turned to amira, even though she could be considered a builty with dark blue hair that was tied into a bun and a slight dimple kranos didn’t dwell on her beauty after all he was a reincarnated old man, how could he be lusting after a little girl old enough to be his granddaughter?
"Why don’t we work together," he suggested, although it seemed like a suggestion amira could feel that the moment she misspoke she wouldnt have the chance to say any last words before she died.
She immediately agreed with kranos suggestion.
"I will come to meet you every night around this time so be available, aside from that throughout the day i will be watching your movements if you do anything out of line don’t blame men for being ruthless!" as kranos spoke he faintly revealed his golden core presure causing amira to feel as though she was standing before the vast heavens and she could be destroyed with just a gust of wind.
Her face rapidly turned pale. Kranos nodded then retracted his pressure. Amira’s face regained their color as she heavily panted, although she couldn’t see the face beneath kranos mask she could faintly feel that his silvery eyes were like dagger that had imprinted themselves into her heart and could destroy her at any time, she immediately shivered the thought.
